New evidence suggests Malaysia withheld vital information on MH370 on 60 minutes (video)

Just two days after debris found off Tanzania was confirmed to be “highly likely” from missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370, claims the Malaysian government have deliberately withheld information about the investigation have emerged.

New evidence that suggests Malaysian authorities have covered up key information, including an FBI report, will be explored on tonight’s episode of 60 Minutes.

More than two years after the plane vanished, authorities have still not determined the exact circumstances of its disappearance.

Australian officials have confirmed the data recovered from a home flight simulator owned by the captain of MH370 showed someone had used the device to plot a similar course to the southern Indian Ocean, where the missing jet is believed to have come down.

New York magazine reported last week that FBI analysis of the device showed Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah’s flight simulator showed a similar route less than a month before the plane disappeared.

Tonight’s program aims to uncover “credible theories” about exactly what led to the Boeing 777’s disappearance on March 8, 2014.

All 239 passengers and crew on board are presumed to have died.
