Bumburing: Crack sensationalised out of proportion

"The recent expression of difference of opinion on a particular issue on the MA63 between me and Dr Jeffrey does not mean there's a crack in the opposition alliance of GABUNGAN SABAH," said Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Bumburing.

He added that this is a domestic problem which can be trashed out within the alliance.

"Gabungan Sabah was forged on a wide range of understanding on so many issues affecting Sabah and Malaysia as a whole. A disagreement on a single issue does not at all reflect any overall difference within the alliance. The report on the issue was sensationalised out of proportion.

"I was asked to commend on the report on the submission by DR Jeffrey  on behalf of MYSabah on the issue of MA63. I have asked whether the submission is confined to the 40% net revenue entitlement of Sabah to which I was told that it includes MA63. I responded to clarify about the joint letter signed by four parties.

"I have learned that Dr Jeffrey had explained that the submission was made before the Gabungan joint letter. If that is the case there is no problem. If Dr Jeffrey had informed us about his earlier submission through MySabah we could have taken an appropriate approach to the issue. What we in PCS are concerned is the integrity of what we have agreed on certain matters," said Wilfred.
