What is Malaysia in the future?

A public talk on “Malaysia in The Future” by a former Inspector General of Police of Malaysia Tan Sri Rahim Noor will be held at Ming Garden Hotel, Kota Kinabalu on 19th of September 2027, at 7.30 pm-with limited capacity of 200 people.

The talk is organised by PIPPA--Progressive Institute of Public Policy Analysis Sabah, a think tank established in 2007.

Over the years PIPPA has been organising talks and forums involving both local and overseas speakers.

PIPPA has also been participating as invited guests of other institutes such as the Perak Academy in Ipoh and the Yussof Ishak Institute in Singapore.

Tan Sri Rahim Noor shall be talking mostly in general terms but he may be highlighting current topics of public interests, in particular that connected to the formation of Malaysia and what he considers to be the corner stone that enticed Sabah and Sarawak as partners in the formation of Malaysian.

Tan Sri Rahim Noor is not new in as far as understanding of Sabahans’ sentiments is concerned, as he was the Sabah Police Commissioner in 1985.

“ I think Tan Sri Rahim Noor is no ordinary Malay in the way the sees thing when come to talk to building Malaysia, his views and sympathy of how Sabah and Sarawak being treated these days” said, Amde Sidik. PIPPA Chairman.

Among the contributions by Tan Sri Rahim Noor were his involvement as a leading role to end of the insurgency problem posed by the Communist Party of Malaya.
