Police report lodged against 'activist' for slandering Jeffrey

KOTA KINABALU - Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) lodged a police report against a Facebook user for slandering Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.

The report was made by Star Information Chief Jeffrey Kumin along with a group of Jeffrey Kitingan's supporters.

The Facebook user by the name of Julfazli Shi Ahmad alleged Jeffrey received tens of millions of ringgit from incumbent Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman as well as mocking him as the most expensive "Raja Katak" in the history of General Elections.

"I saw the Facebook post at about 9.30pm when I was at home.

There were multiple slanders in one single post from Kitingan's whereabouts, bribery, to even calling out on his supporters," he said after lodging the police report at Menggatal Police Station, here, Thursday.

Kumin added that Star is also taking legal action against the Facebook user.

The party also requested the authorities to investigate and take immediate action on six former Barisan Nasional assemblymen for hopping into Parti Warisan Sabah. – Locksley Ng
