KUALA LUMPUR - Persana Avril Sollunda, who was charged with stripping in public at Petaling Street, will stand trial in January.
She made a brief appearance at the magistrate’s court on Tuesday, as the prosecution submitted their evidence against the former model.
Persana, 33, was dressed in all black as she stood before the court. She appeared calm throughout and left soon afterwards.
Her lawyer, Kevin Tan, told the court that the trial dates of Jan 11-13 were all right with his client and that there was no problem going forward with the case.
On Aug 10, Persada was charged with committing an obscene act after stripping in public at Petaling Street on April 23. A video of the incident went viral soon afterwards.
