Big difference in number of IMM13 passes issued
KOTA KINABALU: Sepanggar member of parliament Datuk Eric Majimbun has questioned the Federal Government's seriousness in maintaining the security of the country against unwanted elements.
The deputy president of Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) pointed out that the glaring difference in the number of IMM13 passes issued to foreigners in Sabah has created doubts over the government's commitment in tackling the issue.
"In Parliament yesterday (Oct 10), I asked the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department the number of IMM13 holders in Sabah and was informed that until August 31 this year, a total of 95,291 of the document had been issued in the state with no record of death.
"However, on October 5, the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Nazri Abdul Aziz, when replying to my supplementary question, said 81,000 IMM13 passes had been issued," Majimbun pointed out.
Nazri also confirmed that none of the IMM13 pass holders had been issued with Malaysian citizenship, he said.
"Sadly, the Federal Government is either deaf or blind. What we see in the streets and hear of crimes being committed is clear proof of the seriousness that Malaysians are under threat by those who possess these identification documents obtained fraudulently," Majimbun stressed.

It is not surprising that the Federal Govt tries to play dumb and stupid on the issue of IMM13 and they are so ignorance of the fact that as if the Minister concerned has never been to Sabah. Their main motive is to prolong the issue of IMM13 so that they will continue to control Sabah. Federal govt has no intention to tackle the issue as will only work to their advantage.
ReplyDeleteUnless there is a change of govt after the coming GE13, otherwise Sabah will have to continue to suffer insecurity with all the PATI around.
ReplyDeleteThe federal government becomes ignorant and deaf when it comes to PATI/refugees problems in Sabah.
ReplyDeleteWhy does it not tallied? Instead of foaming his mouth making his own assumption in front of the media, Eric should seek further clarification over this through the parliament...
ReplyDeleteParty import from malaya must be kicked out from Sabah for good. They came to Sabah only to steal and rob our natural resources. Sabah became the poorest state today was due to incompetency of Musang bin tidak aman for the past 9 years as Sabah CM. He is only a parrot to his malaya master. Same will happen if we let another party malaya PR to rule Sabah.
ReplyDeleteNo party import from malaya UMNO or PR = NO PATI in Sabah.
Sarawak is a very good example.
ReplyDeleteHope that this issue will be given explanations.
ReplyDeleteThese IMM13 documents are only released for refugees of war, when the war in their country has stopped, they must return.
