Perayaan Sabah Merdeka 49 Tahun

  1. MORE ACCURATE TO SAY SABAH COMMEMORATES INDEPENDENCE 31 AUGUST 1963- 49 YEARS AGO

BUT SABAH LOST ITS INDEPENDENCE SINCE 16 SEPT 1063- 49 YEARS AGO!

LOTS OF DIFFERENCE WHEN READ LIKE THIS!

    2. NOMINAL INDEPENDENCE ON 31 AUGUST

If a country is independent why become dependent on another country to rule it?

The fact remains Sabah became "independent" nominally on 31 August 1963 and then was quickly shunted into "Malaysia" by Britain in 16 September.

49 years of Malayanisation of public service, schools, misrule. abuse of people's rights, land grabs, theft of our oil & gas are concrete evidence of the new colonialism feared by both Sabah and Sarawak leaders who failed to see this as UMNO annexation.

UMNO stole our independence. They went on to steal everything because local traitors helped them.

Razak would not have been able to steal our oil rights if not for the greatest betrayal in Sarawak history by S'wak SUPP leaders who joined UMNO BN in 1971 giving it a 2/3 majority in the Federal parliament.

This enabled amendment of the Constitution to imposed UMNO Malaya supremacy under the NEP. Thanks to these SUPP traitor "leaders" we now have an apartheid system.

But they could have changed history if they remained in opposition and seriously weakened UMNO strength and delayed the plunder and even moved Sarawak out of Malaysia like Singapore.

Since 1971 the SUPP leaders have not been able to protect the people's interest as CM Rahman Yakub and his white hair nephew went on a rampage of looting Sarawak wealth.

That is why the SUPP lost most of its seats in the last state elections.

In Sabah many have come to see that continuing to keep Sabah under Malayan colonial shackle will lead the disappearance of Sabah's national identity and keep its people politically enslaved to Malaya.

Having realised this, we must unite and work for an independent Sabah outside Malaysia free from Malayan colonial control.

An independent Sabah will not need to fear any foreign invasion which a few raised as counter arguments against Sabah separating from Malaysia.

Brunei and Singapore are free and independent and have not been invaded by any foreign country. In fact they stand out as a testimony that they are far better off than Sabah and Sarawak as masters of their own country and resources!

So 49 years ago Sabah had a brief experience of "independent" and then was transformed into a Malayan colony.

How can we express joy or weep over this?

We can fly the colonial flag upside down or best at half mast to signify our colonials status!

For the younger generation should ponder how true the propechy of late Sukarno.Indeed we Sabahan are being colonised by Malayan. The said Signed Malaysian Independence are rendered useless by the foxy Malaysn, how Tun Razak conned and fooled Sabahan Leaders into giving away the oil and gas right to PETRONAS.

Sabah and Sarawak should challenged the validity of Malaysia Aggreement to ICJ.

    7. WHOSE MERDEKA DAY TODAY? MALAYA 1957

WHAT DAY IS IT FOR US IN SABAH & SARAWAK?- A BLACK DAY (INCLUDING 16 SEPT) MALAYANIZATION & COLONIZATION DAY!

      1. Malaysia was a con job by the British to enable Malaya to annex and takeover our countries under their new colonization scheme.

      2. The only invasion was Malayan army invaded and occupied Sabah & Sarawak since 1963.

      3. Next invasion aided and abetted by UMNO- millions of Indonesians and Filipinos allowed into Sabah and also increasingly into Sarawak. This is part of UMNO Malay supremacist apartheid/pseudo religious colonization plan.

      4. Malaysia is a pseudo democracy use to dominate colonize and plunder Sabah and Sarawak.

      5. Brunei saw through Malayan plans and stayed out and Singapore also saw through Malayan plans and left! They are both free and independent!

      6. 31 August has not relevance to us as it is Malayan independence day 1957. Malaysia did not exist in 1957.

      7. 16 September 1963 is the beginning of Malayanization of Sabah and Sarawak...Malaysia Day!

  11. As the one-stop authority in driving the Sabah Development Corridor (SDC), Sabah Economic Development and Investment Authority (Sedia) has been aligning ‘hard and soft’ infrastructure as per the requirements of the promoted sectors.

    ReplyDelete

  12. Its focus is more to the designated economic clusters such as the palm oil industrial cluster, Sabah Oil and Gas Terminal (SOGT), Keningau Integrated Livestock Centre, Sabah Agro-Industrial Precinct, Agropolitan projects and Kinabalu Gold Coast Enclave.

    ReplyDelete

  13. According to Sedia chief executive officer Datuk Yaacob, key focus areas for SDC following the alignment with the National Key Economic Areas were tourism, palm oil, agriculture, oil and gas, energy, education as well as manufacturing and logistics.

    ReplyDelete
  14. The programme had also identified five focus areas to turn Greater Kota Kinabalu into a strong, vibrant and liveable city – the five areas were development and modernisation, tourism, mobility and travel, healthcare as well as education.

    ReplyDelete
  15. A total of 31 Entry Point Projects (EPPs) had been identified with an investment target of RM77.5 billion by the year 2020, he pointed out.

    ReplyDelete
  16. The SDC initiative aimed to triple Sabah’s gross domestic product (GDP) per capita to at least RM14,784 by 2025 and increase its GDP four-fold to RM63.2 billion through the implementation of prioritised programmes.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Despite uncertainties in the global economy and moderation in external trade, it is expected that the state’s economic performance over the remaining Tenth Malaysia Plan period to average to more than five per cent.

  18. In terms of investor confidence, this can be gauged from the fact that SDC has managed to secure a planned investment of RM112 billion as at the end of June 2012.

  19. Engagement with the private sector was to be the key focus of the ‘second phase’ from 2011 to 2015. During this period, measures and incentives would be customised to attract investments in the designated strategic development areas, economic zones and clusters.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Since that the second phase of SDC concides with the implementation of the Tenth Malaysia Plan, the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP), Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and facilitation fund are some of the measures introduced to support private sector-led investment.

    ReplyDelete

  21. ETP was designed to support investment projects with the potential to generate high income while PPP was targeted at attracting private-sector participation in strategic infrastructure projects such as public transportation systems, hospital and healthcare facilities, and green energy.

    ReplyDelete

  22. Under PPP, the private sector could submit proposals detailing the core of the projects, business plans and total costs, as well as putting financial proposals directly to the respective government bodies, Yaacob explained.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Private companies can invest not just in production and manufacturing facilities, they can also invest in the povision of infrastructure. Projects under this programme which have been approved include the provision of power supply, tourism access roads, a medical centre and an international convention centre.

    ReplyDelete
  24. On the other hand, Sedia is also actively engaging with Performance Management & Delivery Unit (Pemandu) to mobilise investments in the key economic areas under the Regional Cities and Corridors programme, which included palm oil; oil, gas and energy; agriculture, tourism, eucation, manufacturing and logistics.

    ReplyDelete
  25. During the period 2012 to 2013, Sedia would be setting up investment liaison offices and satellite offices in designated locations/clusters to provide business support services, customising investment incentives, developing non-fiscal packages to attract investment as well as to improve on research and development network, he revealed.

    ReplyDelete
  26. The authority would also facilitate foreign investors who partnered or joint ventured with Government-linked companies, SDC’s implementing agencies, SPVs or local entrepreneurs.

If UMNO gov't really cares about Sabah in term development, we should have better dual-carrige Ranau-Sandakan-Tawau or Sindumin-KK highway.
