Police should warn the foreign suspects instead

KOTA KINABALU, November 29, 2012: "The police should warn foreigners not to hurt local people instead of warning Sabahans about relying on internet information about the Norikoh murder case," said SAPP President Datuk Yong Teck Lee in responding to the warning by Sabah Commissioner of Police, Datuk Hamzah Taib, today.

Datuk Hamzah had in today's newspapers warned the people against spreading information about the murder of a 16-year old native girl whose body was found dumped by the road side in Kota Marudu last Sunday, saying that actions could be taken under section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act.

Hamzah had even cited the possibility of the rumours being a threat to national security.

"The real threat to national security is the presence of illegal immigrants and crimes committed by foreigners like the drugs syndicates," Yong responded.

"Only a prompt and decisive action by the authorities to bring the culprits to justice will appease the anger of the local people who see that their rights have been trampled upon, their lands being grabbed and their human dignity being hurt. The people of Sabah are sick and tired of officials denying the crimes inflicted on local people and our self-respect. The people expect that the government to do something concrete about scums who now roam Sabah in our midst," Yong said.

"The federal government should also be held responsible for the allowing the unchecked entry of dubious foreigners with ulterior motives. These are neither tourists nor genuine businessmen.

There has been no denial by any government official about the issuance of Mykads (citizenship) to foreigners from Pakistan who only recently entered Sabah using passports. SAPP youths in Keningau and SAPP mudanita in Kota Marudu have very recently lodged police reports on the cases of Mykads being issued to these foreigners. Some have been seen collecting their RM500 BR1M cash. All these information are available in the internet yet the police have no comment. But when the same internet services talk about the Norikoh case, the police threaten Sabahans instead. Sabahans are the most peaceful people in Malaysia. There is no need to threaten us with fines of RM50,000 and jail terms of one year under the Act," said Yong.

  4. The peoples in authority seem to think that Sabahans are not human beings, thus they can threaten them in their whims and fancy. They forget so easily that Sabahans pay taxes, while the foreigners do not even pay taxes. We are human beings too and we know that life on this earth is only temporal and that we will all die & face the Judge who knows all our acts and that He will command His holy Angels in accordance to what is written in the Book of life to lead us into Heaven or to thrush us into Hell for eternity. It does not matter to GOD,whether the person in front of HIM in the judgement day is an emperor, ministers, politicians, soldiers, policeman/officers or slaves or whatever,we will answer for our deeds.Stop taking Sabahans as slaves, animals;we will answer to the true GOD all our deeds, acts and actions, when we die for sooner or later we will all die.

  14. People will only learn how it feels, when some disaster happens to their own family members. When they are sitting in air con rooms and their workers are at their beck and call, receiving fat salaries from taxpayers, they feel heavenly. While at the same time they impose all sorts of man-made laws on the genuine taxpayers without knowing the implications that befall the taxpayers. But these people can drive as fast as they want, breaking the traffic lights rules, shooing the taxpayers like maggots to the side of the road as they race along with their sirens howling. All the while they set traps by setting up cameramen along the roads so that they can enslave the taxpayers to pay more taxes. At the end time, who will judge their works?
