Dalam kejadian 4.45 pagi itu, anggota komando yang maut dikenali sebagai LKpl Muhamad Fiffixezapey Mat Hussin, 28, dari Pasir Puteh, Kelantan.
Dua orang awam yang cedera di kaki dan bahu adalah pekerja pusat hiburan.
Mangsa kemudian dikejarkan ke Hospital Lahad Datu untuk bedah siasat dan rawatan lanjut.
Difahamkan, ketika kejadian dua anggota tentera ini dipercayai bertengkar lalu cuba dileraikan oleh dua individu berkenaan.
Bagaimanapun, seorang daripada anggota tentera berkenaan tiba-tiba melepaskan beberapa das tembakan dipercayai menggunakan senjata jenis M-16.
Sementara itu, Ketua Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah negeri Senior Asisten Komisioner Omar Mammah ketika dihubungi, mengesahkan kejadian itu dan memaklumkan semua mangsa masih menerima rawatan di hospital.

Soldier shot dead in Lahad Datu scuffle
LAHAD DATU - A soldier was shot dead while two civilians injured after a scuffle broke out outside a 24-hour sundry shop here.
Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib said investigations are continuing and so far no arrests have been made.
"Police are also looking for a soldier among several others to assist investigations into the case.
"Initial investigations revealed a commotion broke out near the 24-hour shop in the early hours followed with several shots fired," he said.
"Several 5.56mm bullet casings were recovered from the scene where the soldier and two civillians were found," Hamza added.
The soldier succumbed to gunshot wounds at the district hospital while one of the civillians was shot on his thighs and the other on his shoulder.
According to witnesses the two civilians were bouncers of an entertainment outlet located above the sundry shop.
