Neighbour unable to confirm image is of dead boy

PETALING JAYA - Google Street View may have captured the image of a boy suspected to have been killed and buried under the kitchen floor of a house in Kepong but a neighbour who was shown the picture was unable to either confirm or deny if the little boy in it was indeed his neighbour once.

The poignant picture which The Star Online stumbled upon depicts two children, a boy and a girl, seen in the porch of their house. The neighbour Azizan Shafiee when commenting on the picture he was shown said the image was too grainy for a proper identification.

“The picture is a bit dark to see. I can’t recognise which boy this is because the face is blurry,” he said.

News of skeletal remains buried under a kitchen floor made the headlines over the weekend when a contractor came upon the gruesome find whilst carrying out renovation works at a house in Taman Usaha Jaya, Kepong.

Police have so far arrested the parents of the boy and issued a statement that there were two boys and a girl in the family although there were varying reports as to the actual number of children living with them.

Neighbours who were questioned about the family said they often heard children screaming as they were being beaten.
