Court rejects ministry's move to stop The Edge publication

KUALA LUMPUR - The High Court today rejected the home ministry's stay application on the court ruling to set aside the 3-month suspension of The Edge Weekly and The Edge Financial Daily.

The home ministry ruled on July 24 that the permits for the two publications would be suspended for three months with effect from July 27.

On July 27, publisher The Edge Communications Sdn Bhd challenged the ministry's decision at the High Court, which on September 21 quashed the suspension order.
