KOTA KINABALU - The Kota Kinabalu police have filed two reports on the Black Sunday 3.0 rally which was held without permission at Dataran Deasoka, Jalan Gaya here, Sunday.
Kota Kinabalu police chief ACP M.Chandra said the case would be investigated under Section 9 (5) of the Peaceful Assembly Act.
The situation at the rally was under control, he said in a statement here Sunday.
The rally, which started at 10 am and ended at 11.15 am, which police claimed was jointly organised by the Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP), State Reform Party (STAR), Parti Cinta SABAH (PCS) and the United Sabah Alliance (USA).
Police are saying that it involved the participation of between 60 and 70 people. However, the organisers claimed that more than 300 people from all over Sabah turned up despite the bad weather.
Chandra said police would call the organisers of the rally to record their statements.
