KOTA KINABALU - The Election Commission has agreed to some amendments in the redelineation of Sabah’s electoral boundaries.
EC chairman Datuk Mohd Hashim Abdullah said the amendments involved one of Sabah’s 25 Parliamentary constituencies and three state seats that were increased from 60 to 73.
Mohd Hashim said the amendments would be put on public display from Nov 22 until Dec 21 at various locations for the public to check.
The public could also view the amendments at the Election Commission’s webpage www.spr.gov.my, he said in a statement.
He said the Sabah Electoral Roll with 995,729 voters that was gazetted on May 13 this year was used for the redelineation.
