Kota Kinabalu, Jan 6, 2011: Sepanggar MP Datuk Eric Majimbun called DAP's Dr Hiew King Cheu boasting of being the 'lone opposition' in Sabah is tantamount to belittling other opposition members.
"I have never in my two terms of office criticise other fellow MPs both in the opposition and government but for the KK MP claiming he is the lone opposition MP in Sabah is just flattering himself or 'angkat bakul sendiri'," Eric said.
Eric, who is also the Deputy SAPP President, said before and after leaving BN, his office has consistently doing its part in assisting the people of Sepanggar both at Tamu, its mobile service unit and the MP's office in Inanam.
"Hiew is just seeking cheap publicity...having my vice chairman manning the mobile service does not mean that it is less important to the rakyat here.
Dr Hiew is trying to save face but proclaiming himself a 'lone opposition' and setting up service kiosks...maybe after a long thought and after he lost his chairmanship miserably to his junior
