As claimed by PKR vice president Tian Chua, who told a group of villagers while his visit to Kota Belud assumingly to launch a branch there, the prime minister's household electricity bill was RM160,000 and water bill RM66,000 a month.
He took this opportunity to compare with folks in Kota Belud, which is less than an hour away from Kota Kinabalu, has many homes without clean water and electricity.
The people of Sabah are irked by the recent increase of electricity tariff by Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) in the state.
Recently, a group of youths from the Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) sent a memorandum to SESB objecting to the new tariff which will be effective on 15 July 2011 (today), an increase of 15% to 24%.
Sabah has to pay everything at a higher price because of unfair federal control and policies.
Najib's wife can spend RM24 million on a single ring so what is so special about electric or water bills per month...like we say...only 'sub sub sui'
