Excitement of leaving Umno goes on

By Amdee Sidik

The Deputy Minister of Local Government and Housing Lajim Ukin is quitting UMNO, followed up by Bongawan Assemblymen Karim Bujang, former Chief Minister Osu Sukam, Pantai Manis Assemblyman Rahim Ismail, former Banggi Assemblyman Amir Kahar and former Land and Co-operative Minister Kasitah Gaddam and Deputy President of UPKO all would be joining Sabah People's Front Party -SPF.

Sabah leaders are now demanding their rights because Federal Government under BN in particular UMNO has been treating Sabahans unfairly.

Nothing short of excitement in Sabah politics rumors such as this brewing hot all over. Because its rumors no one can be blamed if it will be forever rumors.

Assumed it happens, how creditable is this maneuver? Will UMNO sink in Sabah?

The very first question is, will these named personalities dare enough to jump ship? Some had jumped quite a number of times already like Lajim and Amir Kahar.

Many close to Lajim said he (Lajim) wouldn't dare to do it not without a price, as heap of files is readily on display waiting for the exciting moment - files means the sort of response from the leaders in power would do, expose the past deeds. Meaning to say, if a leader like Lajim does it, all but the creation of UMNO itself, the end game, all is over, all back to square one. And that must the grand strategy by UMNO.

Look at the other way, if this happens it wouldn't scared UMNO so much, as these are old faces, some are categorized as political dead wood already, with them or without them wouldn't change much, many young leaders are on the offing so why worry?
If that is how politics goes in Sabah I shall stick to SAPP I think our leaders are much more credible and morally decent, even if they are frogs in my party but I make sure their legs are amputed or else we reject leaders who are going for self interest, this is my assurance as party leader.

Sabah voters must be able to make their own fair judgment out of these political doldrums.

SAPP is not communal political party but for all. There has been tendency other political parties are pushing SAPP to the wall by saying its a Chinese based party. I'm one of the leaders prepared to have as lengthy discussion as possible to rebut the idea.

SAP leaders can lead the Sate Government, let the cynics remind cynical until time comes.

Amdee Sidik is Chairman of Citizen Journalist Malaysia and Deputy President of SAPP

Malahan kerana UMNOlah Sabah kini byk masalah!

Harap semua pemimpin sabahan tulin meninggalkan UMNO.

  37. Sabah leaders have been fighting since the day Malaysia was formed and they are still fighting today and may be tomorrow. They jump for money and have more wives and pleasures. For that simple reason the big thieves have an easy way of stealing' killing. robbing, bullying etc.

It is time SAPP Datuk Yong humble himself down and work hand and glove with other opposition parties. You will never win if you go alone. Don't think the people support you 100% If you get 20% people support you are already a winner. Believe me, I go round asking people and get feed back. If you continue to fight with local parties all will end up losers and uNMO is waiting for that to happen. Please please please if the other local opposition field a candidate you stay out but if you think you are stronger get the other party to let you field a candidate. For god sake don't fight and in this way Sabah sure win. Be humble god will sure bless you. PBS I salute you for getting out of UMNO but disrespect those who went back into it. Where is your pride and where is your backbone???? Fight to the end, win or lose. Now you are a buffalo being lead by
the nose. It was good you came out for you have brought in a lot of young local talents in that 9 years and that backing out had shocked the big evil man. With that back out the big evil man slow down in swallowing Sabah up. Sabah would have been finishd long ago Many people may not have realized how important was that 9 years PBS rules but one fool jumped camp has caused Sabah suffer for ever.. it was bad you went back into it like a begger. See how we are being treated by these evils?? Stop supporting evils if you do you are an evil yourself.
