The Same brown skin doesn’t mean we’re the same..?

SIPITANG - Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) strives to be fair to everyone,  said its Deputy President Hj Amde Sidik in Kampong Iburu about 80 km from Sipitang town yesterday.

The group of SAPP CLC (Constituency Liaison Committee) N28 Sindumin earlier visited a few other kampongs including Long Pasia with their campaign message “SAPP bawa Perubahan” (SAPP brings Change).

"In as far as things are within our jurisdiction we want to make sure people should be given the taste of fruit of democracy we all talk about," he said.

According to Helen (not her real name) of Kg Iburu, BN is good at making promises, yet their YBs seldom visit Iburu, soon after the general election was over, they all disappeared only to come out again in the next General Election with another promise, none other than bringing blue plastic water tanks, now with sticker 1Malaysia on it, she said.

Helen thinks this is may be because BN is not a local party and they do not really understand us a part from nothing to benefit by looking after our kampong, she said.

In response Hj Amde Sidik said, "of course we know BN has not been fair to us we Murut, Lundayeh and Lunbawang alike can only dream to be treated fairly, in reality no matter how smart our people are, having the same brown skin does no meant we get the same treatment, compare with America where a black Obama can become President of the nation. We are nowhere near and it would not happen in our lifetime. As of now their reason is, we have social contract to abide by, wonder if those loudmouths really understand what they say?"

Iburu has the largest concentration of Murut community in a single kampong in Sipitang.

  1. NO SIREE!

WE ONLY EXCHANGED WHITE SKIN COLONIAL MASTERS FOR BROWN SKIN ONES FROM MALAYA!

Same colour does not mean equality!

Brown skin Malayans treat us brown skin Borneans as third class colonial subject not even citizens.

We get last preference for scholarships and jobs and promotions.

They Malayanised and dominate our lives instead of Borneonise as said in th 20 Points Agreement.

The new brown skin masters are enjoying our oil wealth as they laze in the sun.

The white colonial masters were right- they are a lazy good for nothing bunch of bandits!
