Raja Bomoh predicts correct score

Facebook and WhatsApp carried a picture of Raja Bomoh at 11pm carrying two coconuts with the score Brazil 3 and Croatia 1 written on each.

PETALING JAYA - Self-proclaimed Raja Bomoh Sedunia (World Shaman King) Ibrahim Mat Zin, who became famous for his antics in finding the missing MH370, has at least predicted correctly the score of the World Cup opening match between Brazil and Croatia.

At 11pm last night, social networks Facebook and WhatsApp carried a picture of Ibrahim carrying two coconuts with the score Brazil 3 and Croatia 1 written on each.

True to prediction, the match, which started at 4am, ended with Brazil beating Croatia 3-1.

However, it cannot be confirmed whether the picture is based on Ibrahim’s real prediction or merely netizens making fun of the bomoh.

If it is true, at least Ibrahim can redeem himself by finally predicting something accurately this time, after the public and politicians criticised the bomoh’s antics and comments at KLIA when flight MH370 went missing.

In his first ritual held at KLIA, he “searched” for MH370 using a bamboo telescope and fish trap.

The bomoh’s second ritual, also at the KLIA two days later, received wide coverage from the international media, when he used a bamboo telescope, two coconuts, a basket and a carpet.

Ibrahim’s ritual became a phenomenon in Malaysia and worldwide when everyone started to imitate and ridicule his rituals.

He even offered to fly to Australia and the Indian Ocean to help the search and rescue team find the missing MH370.
