Rabbit will bring major climatic disasters

The Year of Rabbit is unlikely to bring sunny days, says renowned feng shui expert Lillian Too.

KOTA KINABALU: The Year of Rabbit is not going to bring us better weather.

Expect major climatic disasters to continue in 2011 because there are two missing elements in the Year of the Rabbit – water and earth, according to renowned fengshui expert Lilian Too.

But, according to her, not all is lost. There is also personal wealth to be made in 2011 as almost all the animal signs in the astrological chart have excellent prospects for making big money this year.

Elaborating on the climatic changes, Too said: “Last year – the Tiger Year – the water element was completely missing in the Paht Chee chart

“This does not mean that water is non-existent; it means that it has gone elsewhere, and hence when it manifests itself… it comes in a large and wrathful form.

“Looking back, we see that 2010 (which did not have any water) suffered some of the worst floods ever – for example, the terrible flood in Pakistan which destroyed the homes of more than 20,000 people and more recently in Queensland.

“In the colder parts of the world, the displacement of water manifested in the form of snow and hail storms.
“This year, I’m afraid that the chart for 2011 is also severely lacking in water. Not only water, but earth is also short in supply.

“With these two vital elements missing, I fear that this year we will continue to suffer major climatic disasters.”

Violence everywhere

When asked whether if it would hit Malaysia, Too said: “That I cannot say as the charts do not reveal where precisely they will hit.

“But I do hope that we will be safe. I urge everyone to wear cosmic amulets that can protect you from being in the wrong place at the wrong time, especially if you are travelling to regions that have volcanic activity.

“The Paht Chee chart also reveals that all four pillars are severely clashing. On top of that, the violence star Number 7 flies into the centre of the Flying Star Charts.

“With missing elements in the charts and clashing pillars, it tells me that the energy for this year is very volatile, quarrelsome and very dark.

“International disagreements will escalate and there could even be a high-profile assassination. Air and road accidents will rise.

“Hence, it is so vital that in addition to placing the appropriate feng shui cures, we engage the help of cosmic forces by wearing amulets for protection,” Too said.

As to what industry or sector will fare well in the Year of the Rabbit, Too said that the stock market looks very good this year: there will be plenty of opportunities to invest that will bear fruit.

The energy for buying is good all-year around except in August and October where things will start to slow down, she said.

“If you are buying stocks and shares, my advice would be to exit the market by October as this is when the charts indicate that the good energy ends.”

Too said the other industry that will fare well is the real estate and property industry. Those who invest in real estate and property will do very well indeed.

Tough for rabbits

Finally for those who are born in the Year of the Rabbit, it will not be an easy ride.

“For the Rabbit, this is not the year to attempt any major transformational changes in your life such as moving (to other) countries, leaving your job, starting a new business, and so on.

“This is a time of consolidation – to lay low and to take each day at a time. It is also a great idea to borrow the good luck of all your astrological allies.

“The Rabbit’s secret friend is the Dog, which enjoys great good fortune this year as the Dog is visited by Prosperity star 8 this year.

“The Boar, which is the Rabbit’s astrological friend, is one of the five extremely lucky animals this year, flanked by big auspicious stars and visited by the Star of Big Prosperity.

“Hence if you are a Rabbit, and you are indeed planning to start a new business, then include the Boar or the Dog as your business partner.

“You can also bring their luck into your home by placing the Boar and Dog in your home in their respective directional places,” she said.

Too said this year’ lucky colour is yellow

“Yellow is this year’s colour. It is the colour of Earth, which is the missing element in this year’s chart; wearing Earth counters this imbalance. Earth also represents prosperity for 2011, and anyone who wishes to harness wealth should carry yellow. Hence wallets, handbags, T-shirts, ties and belts which are yellow in colour will attract fortune.” she said.
