Horrifying footage of tiger attack on woman


A horrifying footage has captured a woman getting out of the vehicle and being mauled by a tiger in a safari park in Beijing on Saturday.

The Badaling Wildlife World near the Great Wall of China, allows visitors to drive their own cars safari-style where the animals roam free. However, visitors are cautioned not to alight from their vehicles.

In the footage, a woman is seen storming out of the car after having a fight with a man who is inside the vehicle. That was when a huge Siberian tiger pounced on her from behind.

As the man goes after her, an older woman, believed to be her mother also runs out of the car to help her, but was reportedly attacked by another tiger that came out of nowhere, dragging her away in lightning speed, killing her instantly.

The second tiger attack however, is not captured on camera.

According to reports, the family-of-four were driving themselves around the park - one older woman, a younger woman, a child and a man – when the young woman had an argument with the man, while the vehicle was in the tiger enclosure.

It is understood he man tried to rescue his family members, while the child stayed in the car.

Sohu reported that park rangers quickly rushed to rescue the women, but were too late to save the older woman. The younger woman sustained injuries and is recovering from her wounds in hospital, it added.

Local media also reported that both women had ignored repeated warnings to stay inside the vehicle. All visitors are also understood to have signed letters of responsibility, which explicitly states that self-driving into the park, to lock car doors and windows, non-stop.

The park is now closed for investigation, although details of the incident have not been officially confirmed.
