KOTA KINABALU - Moyog assemblyman Terence Siambun is expected to follow Penampang MP Darell Leiking's decision to quit PKR, dealing another blow to the party in Sabah.
It is believed that the first-term assemblyman has already submitted his resignation to the party.
When contacted, Siambun told The Star that he had yet to make a decision.
The Moyog state seat is under the Penampang Parliament constituency.
Leiking and Siambun are both expected to join former Umno vice president Datuk Seri Shafie Apadal's new Sabah-based party.
PKR won seven state seats and two MP seats in Sabah in the 2013 general election.
However, three PKR assemblymen – Jeremy Majalad (Kadamaian), Datuk Jelani Hamdan (Matunggong) and Datuk Wilfred Bumburing (Tamparuli) – have already quit the party - Star
