The United Sabah Alliance or USA, an alliance of five political parties, has given enough indication or gesture to work with Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) during the coming general election.
USA chairman Datuk Mohd Noor Mansur however, said the decision would depend on Warisan, whether to accept the signal or not.
“Warisan still has not made any efforts to be closer to USA. From the beginning we have been giving a clear cordial gesture about our preparedness to accept Warisan. Our door is always open for parties that are willing to serve the people of Sabah.
“From the beginning, I and Datuk Seri Lajim Ukin, had attended functions organised by Warisan. We were hoping such efforts would be recognised and accepted as a cordial relationship to work with USA but it is still pending,” he said.
Mohd Noor was speaking to reporters after attending a meeting with USA leaders in Kota Kinabalu, Tuesday.
Also present were Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah (Harapan Rakyat) president Datuk Seri Lajim Ukin, Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP) president Datuk Yong Teck Lee, Parti Perpaduan Rakyat Sabah (PPRS) president Arshad Abdul Mualap, STAR deputy president Jalumin Bayogoh and Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) vice president Datuk Kalakau Untol.
