Kimma Penang Liaison Committee chairperson Faruk Raja Mohamed said Ng (right), who is also the political secretary to the chief minister, had used the words "tutup kedai, balik India" (close shop, return to India) on shopowner Syed Kassali Mohamad Aliyar and several of his workers when sealing a nasi kandar shop along with enforcement officers of the Penang Municipal Council two days ago."Is it right for an elected representative to hurl a racist remark and act roughly with the people? He is not professional in discharging his duties," Faruk told reporters.
He said Kimma wanted the state government to be responsible for the action of the political secretary to Lim Guan Eng and apologise to Indian Muslims in the country.
He also said that Kimma would discuss with the Muslim Restaurant Operators Association of Malaysia (Presma) on the next course of action against DAP-led state government if it remained silent on the matter.

If the political secretary to the Penang CM did indeed use such words, he is an idiot and should apologise immediately.
ReplyDeleteGiven the sensitive nature of race relations and errant BN reps frequent use of such racist rhetoric which has vehemently been chastised by the Opposition, the last thing an Opposition member should do is follow in the BN footsteps.
In the coffeeshops, people have commented that it took BN to be arrogant but it took DAP less than 3 years to be so. Well done DAP.

Is this the Change which was the battle cry of DAP during the 308 election? Are we changing BN with DAP's type of arrogance?
If Lim Guan Eng has any more dignity left, Ng should be sacked as his PA- ofcos after due process. Voters demand it that PR/DAP should start to practise what it preaches
watch out...DAP will take over MCA and be part of BN anytime after next election...IF they win all the chinese seats.
