Leaders of Star and DAP, especially, should be more humble and stop talking BIG.

Barisan Must be Laughing at these Fringe Party

The statement by Sarawak's Star party that it will contest in and win 60 state seats and 25 parliamentary seats in Sabah was to say day-dreaming, at the least.

Such illogical statements only make BN laugh at the opposition. They treat this kind of stupidity of Star and Usno (Which does not exist legally) as only benefiting the BN. If the opposition is divided, there is no way for them to topple BN.

This will allow the BN to rule for 5 more years and do whatever they want.

Only recently, we in Sabah felt relieved when opposition leader and PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim said that the Pakatan Rakyat coalition led by him was willing to co-operate with oppositions parties in Sabah. He even went to the extend of  saying that Pakatan was willing to give way to SAPP in certain areas.

Opposition parties in Sabah should take heed of Anwar's advice which I describe as sincere and far-sighted. Anwar's solution is the only way to challenge BN. Leaders of Star and DAP, especially, should be more humble and stop talking BIG.

If the opposition parties in Sabah want to replace the BN government, then they should sit down and show some sincerity instead of trying to show who is more terror or more senior.

Accept the fact that no one individual party would be able to rule on its own. Even the BN is a composition of several component parties.

  1. Spot on. Sapp n star are big headed. Both demand big cake from pr. They should look at the mirror see if they command such big support from ppl.

Their only excuses are Sabah autonomy and colonism from federal. Come on who are both of you trying to kid us? Work with PR.

Star still have to cheek to threat pr saying they will field candidate to all seat if their demand are not met.

    Childish greedy n arrogant.

    1. Look at PR Sabah record in GE 2008. PR Sabah then was the only main opposition party in 2008.

How many seats did PR win in Sabah ?

PR should look itself in the mirror before judging others.

Without STAR & SAPP support, PR is already doom in Sabah.

    2. Wake up, you must be sleeping and dreaming.
Go and attend STAR functions and you will be able to gauge their support from the people and the people openly queue up to fill in membership forms.
Go ask Sapp, some functions attend by YTL personally in some strong STAR areas are attended by less than 50 persons.
Stop dreaming and stop be an armchair critic without knowing the real situation in the kampungs.

  2. PR from Malaya been advised better mind their own business in Malaya. They lose big time in 2004 and 2008 Sabah elections which is a proven fact! What else they want to bullshits again?

STAR from Sarawak by only making used the name of United Borneo Agenda but can't even get the support from their place of origin Sarawak and yet want to talk bullshit in Sabah about United Borneo?

I did attend STAR function but less than 50 people but they bullshits in newspaper more than 500 hundreds people? This kind of bullshit party leaded by bullshits people better go to fly kite.

  3. Star can always merge into Sapp becoz its party status is in doubt...well, a sarawak registered party...a almost defunct party like bersekutu in sabah. And the question is, who is the president of this star party? Honestly, I don't know and it is rather confusing to think that Star or whatever it is looks like a bicycle wheel..can eventually be relevant?

  4. Put it this way, PR STAR & SAPP are not strong yet. But PR is the strongest in term of experience, support etc from peninsula. Instead of demanding to take on majority of state seat, SAPP n STAR better think of a more balanced seat allocation with PR. STAR is still infancy, but their demand is so big akin they have big support from Sabahan.

  11. Star masih bayi lagi tapi amboi lagak macam dah Well established saja. Janganlah jadi sombong abang JK kau ni memang veteran politik tapi parti kamu tu belum tentu ada banyak sokongan. Rendah diri lah sikit ... Kerjasama dengan abang besar PR lah. 20% kerusi untuk setiap SAPP dan STAR cukup lah. Tinggal 60 % untuk pr. Cukup? Tidak? Kalau begitu 25% setiap kamu. Ok tak?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Very simple plot. JK wants majority state seat so that once he won he become the next king maker of Sabah. He can "sell" it back to BN. I'm not surprise because he was a frog king once. If STAR n SAPP really sincere, they should have joined PR. why wait? It is because they wants to have the privilege to be seen as Sabah heroes fighting for Sabah autonomy. But the reality is they are fighting for their own greed for power n money!!!!

  13. Wow until now oppositions parties can't even decide on seat allocation. Still bickering among themselves? Don't be so certain that ppl will vote for you guys. Be humble. When can we see a solid pact? Few days before election? You guys is facing a very cunning evil n resourceful party BN. There are millions of PATI waiting to vote BN to ensure their continued survivor. To PR, SAPP, STAR etc wake up time is not on your side stupid!!!!!!
