DHAKA - The Bangladeshi cabinet has approved a draft deal for "G2G (government-to-government) Plus" that will allow private firms to send some 1.5 million workers to Malaysia through government arrangement over the next three years.
The Daily Star of Bangladesh reported, quoting cabinet secretary Md Shafiul Alam that the government hoped to send 1.5 million workers to Malaysia over the next three years.
Meanwhile, Dhaka Tribune reported that Malaysia would recruit Bangladeshi workers in construction, services, manufacturing and agriculture sectors where it earlier hired only for the plantation sector.
