Google's new awesome operating system for Android devices

Google just released a preview of its latest operating system for Android devices and it's awesome. Not yet officially named, or available, Android N seeks to streamline many of the processes on your mobile devices. And if you have a Pixel C tablet or Nexus 6 phone, you can download and test the beta version now, reports, The Verge.

If you've ever felt like you have so many tabs open your mind is about to explode, Android N simplifies the user experience with a multitasking function where you can have two pages open side by side. Notifications are also streamlined with space-saving smaller buttons and prompts that offer a snippet of your notification without overwhelming your screen. Your settings menu will remind you of the things you've forgotten to set up on your phone, and all things VR will become a reality with the new Android platform, Daydream. You can even customize what your keyboard looks like.

Its new graphics API promises to “deliver more efficient visual performance on phones and tablets,” according to The Verge, and apps will take up less of your data, and install up to 75% faster. Battery life will also be improved, and updates to the operating system will be done in the background, and installed by just rebooting your phone, reports Engadget.

Android N promises much, and if own one of Google's devices you'll have lots to look forward to.
