TENOM, Nov 10, 2011: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) youth chief, Edward Dagul welcomed the intention of Upko President Tan Sri Bernard Dompok to meet up with the Prime Minister to discuss the call for the establishment of a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to find a definitive solution.He said SAPP viewed seriously the illegal immigrant issue and granting of citizenship to foreigners through the backdoor and hoped it could be addressed appropriately and that the RCI was the only way.
He said SAPP's mission of collecting about 100,000 signatures of Sabahans several months ago was also aimed at urging the Federal Government especially the Home Minister to form the RCI but the party's effort was viewed as petty.
"We were disappointed because SAPP's effort did not get the solid support from the Sabah BN leaders including from Umno Sabah.
We also wonder the reason for Umno Sabah not to be in sync with the others in calling for the RCI although the impact of the problem affects all of us. They prefer to keep silent," he said.
Nonetheless, he said there was some development with the leaders from the BN fighting for the formation of the RCI although he was not sure if the "passion" will remain the same after the General Election.
BN components too afraid they may lose the elections except Umno which is confident becoz of PTI with ICs voting them.

ReplyDeleteKerajaan Persekutuan perlulah memberikan pertimbangan yang sewajarnya dalam perkara ini.

ReplyDeletebaguslah..kalau semua parti di Sabah ni bersatu untuk mendesak kerajaan persekutuan menubuhkan RCI mungkin akan tercapai juga akhirnya.

ReplyDeletenampaknya sapp tidak mahu ada parti lain yang sama2 mahu mengetengahkan isu ini.. kalau boleh dia mahu parti dia saja yang dilihat berjuang.. nanti bila rci ditubuhkan mesti dia cakap semua tu hasil usaha sapp..

Beribu-ribu PENDatang Haram dari Pakistan boleh masuk Sabah terus menjadi bumiputra Sabah. Mereka juga boleh kahwin sesuka hati dengan sumandak Sabah dengan 4 bini.

Kerajaan persekutuan perlulah menyelesaikan masalah ini. Jika tidak selagi itu suara rakyat Sabah akan terus kedengaran bagi menangani masalah PATI. Jangan biarkan rakyat Sabah terus dihantui oleh PATI. Laksanakanlah SSD atau cara lain yang berkesan untuk menyelesaikan PATI ini.
