UMNO, no place in Sabah, except for those..

By Amde Sidik

YES, we’re heading in the right direction to bury UMNO in this forthcoming General Election.

If people in Peninsula are now rejecting them who are we to keep them afloat?

If the Orang Asli are treated as outcasts in the Umno’s family, which is less than ten kilometres from the nation’s capital, what makes you think they will look after people in Sook and Banggi alike, thousand kilometres away?

Only the insane will agree to vote Joseph Kurup in an exchange with zincs and water tanks for the past 49 years?

For KDM are you still buying the idea of your leaders who care only for the luxury and comfort? …While the rest are auctioned for less than fifteen sen a day.

Your kids have no place in our country- Sabah is our country NOT a State; this is the way I want to call it, say what you like.

Other ethnics in Sabah, including mine-Kadayan Lundayeh, Brunai I must say this- I detested communal and religious politics propagated by Umno.  Let me repeat, UMNO is race based political party politics right from day one, read the abbreviation U.M.N.O

Malay can be anyone, said Mahathir, via his project, millions of new Malays were created just to make sure UMNO remain in power.

During his reign in twenty-two years, Mahathir acted arbitrarily defying the law of the country.

Sabah’s leaders nodded subserviently as if they were face to face with the most powerful Pharaoh of the Exodus over the dining table. Once cursed no more food.

My question, what did our leaders say and do in Sabah? Not a word of protest ever occurred about Mahathir’s wrong doings.

Mahathir is UMNO and UMNO is Mahathir, but I consider that era is about to say good-bye.

For new Sabah’s leaders who have no business in Sabah’s politics in the past must take cognisance that WE have a different outlook all together.

Hold tight, let us build up this new aspiration, look for something different and afresh.

Be on guard of frogging, as now is rainy season; they are not the only leaders to be reckoned with. But all of You, You and you …can replace them,

Sabah cannot be a poor 'state'; in the past even with a graduate of standard six could ensure Sabah can survive another thousand years. But why are we poor now?   Sabah is categorised poor under UMNO’s government, not during Usno, Berjaya, PBS but UMNO.

No amount of numbers of super graduates and professionals in Sabah could escape the tag.

Are Sabah’s leaders mentally retarded under the push button of KL UMNO’s leaders?

It really is high time to REVIEW, who are we? Who they are? UMNO needs to be buried and never appear in Sabah. They have no business to continue detecting people in Borneo.

The cardinal promise made in 1963 has been breached, and no amount of promises can change Sabahans’ mind.

We have to look beyond the grandiose glass building of KK Airport, which to many look deserted every time one touches the ground. That is what UMNO leaders are symbolising with, a hollow and empty inside, in short, soul-less!

I do not normally like to create a kind of branding towards others. But today I feel like making an exception.Have you heard of a clown?Well if you had been to a circus you will definitely see one.His job is to entertain the audience, receives applause and creating all kinds of acts to please the crowd. This is a first class clown because it is in his profession to do such as a career and be the master of the trade.

To see a clown nowadays you don't need to go to a circus.Open the internet,go to a certain website and you will see many clowns trying to clown themselves to others.Unfortunately such clown is not entertaining. They are monotonous in their act and boring too. They are the street clowns and sooner than later you will meet many like the one now in front of your very eyes.See the picture?

The termites that have survived from the fallen small trees had immediately hastily without being seen climbed unto the BIG TREE and now that BIG TREE is tottering & it will surely fall on the 13th instant as sure as one could see in the mirror. The fullbacks are bent with long years of corruption & cronyism, exercises of futility and the goalkeepers have become overweight due to gluttony & more, whilst their opponents are as fit as fiddle, their kicks are strong/accurate & they are blasting the balls right past the defense. Before the final whistles are blown, the scores are countless...........!

  21. KING MAKERS- MISSED THE GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY!

HOW UMNO ACTUALLY REMAINED IN POWER FROM 1971

THIS IS  VALUABLE INSIGHT INTO THE SUPP LEADERSHIP WHICH COMMITTED THE CRIMINAL BETRAYAL OF SARAWAK WHEN  THE TRAITORS JOINED UMNO BN IN 1971 & GAVE IT A 2/3 MAJORITY. (After losing it 2/3 majority in 1969)

    SUPP should not fool itself!

Voon Lee Shan blog Saturday, June 28, 2008

There is no reason why SUPP should still remain as a partner of the Barisan Nasional government when the Party itself could not protect its own interest and had no or very little bargaining power within the government itself. After SUPP formed the State government with Parti Bumiputra on Tuesday 7th July, 1970, their left wing then accused the leadership of selling out the Party, which caused their then Party Chairman during the 7th Delegate Conference held on December, 1970 to deny this and said that they joined the government as co-equals, but, how correct was this? We have witness that all these years SUPP’s influence in BN government, both at the State and Federal levels, had not only dwindled, but, also showed that the Party could no more advance and protect the interest of its own Party members and supporters.

SUPP’s decision in joining the Federal government on 11 February, 1971 saw the amendment of the Federal Constitution by Tun Razak’s government and this was a big blow to Malaysians who believed in equal economic opportunity to all races, fairness in promotion and recruitment into the civil service and equal opportunity to pursue education. These three fields of opportunities were of paramount importance in a developing country and in Malaysia, the UMNO led government had exploited this to UMNO’s advantage at the expense of many other races and also at the expense of many bumiputera themselves. If one had no connection with people at the top, it seemed that job and business opportunities were scare and licences applied for not only delayed but, a lot of “funny things” went on before one could get them. Now, we could see there is a trend towards a one race civil service due to four to one ratio policy in recruitment policy. This policy was revealed in a book by a SUPP politician.

By joining Tun Razak’s government, SUPP’s five Members of Parliament at that time allowed the bare two-thirds majority needed in helping UMNO led government to amend the Federal Constitution prohibiting any questioning or criticism of the special position of the malays and the granting of citizenship rights to immigrants. IF SUPP had not joined Tun Razak’s government, the UNMO led government at that time, could not not the two third majority in Parliament to amend the Federal Constitution. After the amendment, even Members of Parliament could not refer these matters in Parliament. So SUPP helped UMNO to achieve what UMNO wanted.

The amendment of the Federal Constitution had made Sabah and Sarawak a heaven for immigrants from neighbouring countries and now Sabah and Sarawak are faced with the problems of illegal immigrants and rising crimes. SUPP leaders now condemned the Police for its ineffectiveness in curbing crimes and many accused that foreigners caused crime rates to rise up sharply. Many of these foreigners later on managed to be issued with the Malaysian identity cards. People in the streets cursed the government, but, who in actual fact had allowed this to happen? Had not SUPP played a part to make this happened?

  22. KING MAKERS- MISSED THE GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY!

HOW UMNO ACTUALLY REMAINED IN POWER FROM 1971
    PART 2)

Being helpless, SUPP had also allowed leaders of UMNO led government to manipulate the New Economic

Policy to the advantage of certain group of people and we could in recent years heard dissent voices against the implementation of the New Economic Policy which tend to benefit the few people at the Corridors of Power. The amendments to the Federal Constitution blend well with the Economic Policy to such an extent that no one should voice any dissatisfaction about these. Dayaks whom SUPP had once aggressively championed are still left far behind in terms of economic advancement and opportunities. Likewise, the many malays who have no connections with PBB and UMNO only had to be satisfied to stay at their kampong lands, hoping that God would be kind to keep them healthy always. The rich Malays are very rich and are confined to the very few although the living standard of many malays are much better now.

Stability contributes to growth, and being part of Malaysia, Sabah has contributed in human and natural resources. On the subject of the woes we see in Sabah, we have no one to blame but ourselves. We have accept incompetence, corruption and the tidak apa altitude. We are friendly but not professional. That is no way to run a state. And for the record, I didn't vote for anybody to rule over me. Elected representatives are just that, they represent us in Parliament, they are our voice, they represent the will of the people. Get the record straight - our representatives work for us. The day they stop doing that us the day we remind them with our votes.
