KOTA KINABALU: LDP president VK Liew has been sacked by his own party.
His membership, as well as that if his chosen secretary general Loretto Padua has been suspended.
At a meeting today, 29 LDP supreme council members who were sacked by Liew, decided to sack him as the president and suspend his membership.
Sacked secretary general, Datuk Teo Chee Kang said those who met were the original supreme council members.
The meeting held at the Sabah Golf and Country Club here has also endorsed party deputy president Senator Datuk Chin Su Phin to be acting president.
