According to the Independent, the video was released on IS' official propaganda outlet al-Hayat Media showing two men who claim that they are Russian spies after which a boy shoots them in the desert.
The video emerged just a day after a child around 14 years of age was shown carrying out a suicide bombing in an Iraqi province.
Experts said that the inclusion of children in these brutal acts shows a "a departure from past norms" even in the IS' standards.
The militant in the video is heard saying that the men were in "custody of the lion cubs of the caliphate" before the child executes them.
