PUTRAJAYA — The managing director of Ihsan Perdana, the company responsible for 1Malaysia Development Bhd’s (1MDB) corporate social responsibility programmes, has been remanded for five days beginning today (July 22) to assist a special task force probe on the debt-laden state investor.
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) deputy prosecutor Ahmad Sazilee Abdul Khairi told reporters that the 54-year-old man was nabbed at The Curve shopping mall last evening.
Previous news reports had named Ihsan Perdana’s managing director as Dr Shamsul Anwar Sulaiman, who earlier this month denied transferring money to Prime Minister Najib Razak’s bank accounts. MALAY MAIL ONLINE
