Police report against FB user over fake message

KOTA KINABALU: SORAK Sabah (Solidariti Rakyat Sabah) yesterday lodged a police report against a Facebook user who posted a fake Facebook message (in Bahasa Malaysia) which it claimed was slanderous and malicious. 

The report was lodged by Dexter Chin Chen Sang on behalf of SORAK SABAH at the Penampang police station at noon time. 

Dexter in his police report, said the message posted by one Adrian Lim Chee En was about a Black Sunday Peaceful Protest of PSS (Bantah Pas Sementara) to be held at 1 am on Nov I at Gaya Street. 

Ánd, the invited speakers were Deputy Chief Minister cum STAR Sabah president Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan and SAPP president Datuk Yong Teck Lee. 

According to Dexter, the FB post also included a picture of Dr Jeffrey with several other leaders. 

Adrian Lim Chee En, who is an active Pakatan 'cybertrooper' and believed to be hired by PKR Selangor under his boss Elizabeth Wong based in KL.

"On behalf of Sorak Sabah we would like to state we have never issued the invitation mentioned in the post

"We ask the police to investigate the individual responsible for attempting to create confusion among the people of Sabah," he added. 


Dexter also said he found out from his friends that a screenshot of the Facebook posting was shared virally in WhatsApp groups. 

He said what Adrian did was disrespectful, defamatory and malicious. 

And, Dexter said they would also lodge a report with MCMC.
