It seems that the present BN/Umno government is NATO ie talk only, no action. What do I mean? We are old enough to remember 1 Malaysia has happened long ago. In particular, it has been destroyed by successive leaders of Umno Starting with Dr M.
The Chairperson of Bersih, Dato Ambiga's father ie the late Dato Dr Sreenevasan. Her father & my late father Tan Sri Dr Tan Chee Khoon were really like abang adik. They used to meet very often & would ring each other almost everyday. They were friends for 50 years & were very active in Medical circles
including the MMA.
My late father also started one of the first private hospitals in KL, Sentosa Medical Centre.
In 1972, none other than Tun Razak, PM then & President of UMNO declared open the hospital.
At that time my father was Mr Opposition.
What is the state of affairs now????

The EC Chairman, Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof appeals to Bersih to discuss rather than call for a public rally.
May I remind him that we have talked & talked but it has fallen on deaf years
The Deputy Chairman of the EC, Wan Adnan at a public talk in MPPJ 4 months ago was asked
"How independent is our EC compared to EC of Thailand & India?"
He sheepishly replied, EC of Thailand & India very in dependant.
In Malaysia the EC just does what the BN government wants us to do!!!!!!
1. STAR headline of Sunday 26/6/11
"Costly Trade Off, Traders in KL worried that on July 9, Business will be badly affected"
That may be true. May I remind the Editors of Star.\, that long ago I used to run a GP Clinic
in Jalan TAR. Every year in order to prepare for the Merdeka Day March past, roads in the centre
of KL will be closed from 7am till 1pm for at least 3 days in month of august.
If they say traffic will be disrupted, then why did not the Star advise the BN government to
call off the Merdeka Day March Past????
2. Register all the 10 million voters again
After the 1999 elections, when I was the MP for Segambut, I still recall both sides of the House
were very unhappy with the discrepancies in the electoral roll.
Both sides urged the BN govt & EC that since the GE was just over, conduct a massive exercise
to register ALL the voters again. But the EC refused
3. SIBU by-election 2010.
While campaigning for the DAP calon, I met a market trader. She was so angry.
In her house, there are 8 votes & they have voted in the past 4 elections. On checking all 8 names
have been deleted completely. Is this fair play???
On the voting day polls closed at 5pm. The postal votes were counted 3 days before that & all the postal votes were kept in the EC office in Wisma Sanyan. May I ask the EC Chairman, why were the boxes of postal votes only sent to the counting centre only at 10pm??? Is this standard EC procedure???
4. Hulu Selangor By-election
There were allegations of massive manipulation. The record stands that the Keadilan calon then
Zaid Ibrahim has filed an election petition. What has happened to it??
Also there was a big uproar that 200+ voters were transferred from Bukit Sentosa, Hulu Selangor
seat to Selayang seat without their knowledge, The EC's lame excuse was the polling stations were too congested.
5. Ceramah in Slim River Perak last night
N Serendran one of the speakers were told by the Police "IF there is any reference to the Bersih rally of july9, we will stop the ceramah at once"
So finally , can we trust the EC & the BN government to conduct Free & Fair elections the the forthcoming GE 13???

Bersih is NOT about one man's agenda to be the future PM. If we in Malaysia want TRUE
Democracy then ALL Malaysians must insist on free & fair elections, a free press abolish ISA etc
TRUE ENOUGH. BUT NOT ALL OF MALAYSIAN HAVE A GOOD BRAIN. SOME HAVE THEIR BRAIN AT THEIR KNEE. SOME HAS DOCTORATE TITLE BUT PUT THEIR BRAIN LOWER THAN CHIMP. WELL, I'M SURE THAT U KNOW WHAT I MEAN. DID U KNOW THAT CHIMP ARE SMARTER THAN OUR PM.
