Don’t Dilly Dally Over RCI !

“The Prime Minister should announce once and for all whether the RCI is on or off.   The PM should show sincerity and clear the confusion” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, Chairman of STAR Sabah.

Right now, the dilly-dallying shows that the Government is insincere and only playing with the emotions of the people on the eve of the forthcoming general elections.

The delay is also embarrassing BN component leaders who have been made to believe and committed themselves to the announcement of the RCI that never materialized.

“If the Government is going to announce the RCI now, it should also make public the terms of reference of the RCI and ensure sincerity and transparency in solving the problems.   The RCI should not be a white-wash or an election gimmick.

UMNO should show respect to its component partners rather than showing once again that the BN components are irrelevant and does not count in such an important decision and issue.

On the other hand, it is only right for the BN component partners to give UMNO their ultimatum.

What are the BN component partners waiting for?

    The call for the setting-up of RCI is getting loud each day albeit hollow.The louder it becomes the more questions being propped in the minds of Sabahans of its neccessity.Is it becoming an election tool by the opposition to discredit the government and to show the people that the opposition is relevant by its exposition of the government's weaknesses.The call to set-up the RCI is being planned to embarass the government right from the beginning.It is a case of'damn if they do and damn if they don't' so either way the government has been targeted for ridicule.This is a 'blame game'planned by the opposition especially SAPP to put the BN government into public contempt,ridicule and embarassment in the eyes of not only the rakyat but the whole world.Why should therefore the government relent to such call?It should not be entertained at all,come what may and should be discarded as an attempt to simply sabotage the government policy through widespread propaganda whatever the outcome or results of the RCI.

    Its should be left to the wisdom of the people to judge how the present government policies are shaping their lives for good or bad but responding to the call of RCI is simply a bad idea.The majority of the rakyat will support and understand should the RCI be forgotten once and for all instead of being used to haunt them by the opposition.

    The government therefore should not fall into a trap that leads them into a poltical abyss because such a place only belongs to the opposition.

      simple, just get your PM to announce NO RCI.

    BN Sabah already agree to setup RCI but there is no outcome yet!!!People will not forget about this even it becomes a thorn in the flesh. It's show to us that federal won't entertain our demand, so let's us joint together to kick out this monster (king of liar).

    Mana sudah RCI???? kalau tiada RCI hancurlah kerjaan BN nanti!!!!! kau tengoklah! tapi kalau BN buat pengumuman peringkat persekutuan dan buat tindakan yang sepatutnya saya akan sokong 100% BN!

    My opinion, STar sabah chairman Dr jeffery should join Sapp, sapp president yong should go for parliament seat and if pakatan wins, he goes for a fed minister while jeffrey can be sabah cm.

    RCI adalah perlu untuk menyiasat projek IC di sabah...diharapkan najib akan membuat pengumuman mengenai penubuhan RCI secepat mungkin.

    Setting up of a Royal Commission of Inquiry(RCI) to probe the illegal immigrant issue in Sabah will be done at the right time.

    Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak would make the announcement on the RCI soon.

    Jika PM sudah mencadangkan RCI dibawa ke kabinet pasti akan ditubuhkan nanti. Namun semua itu perlu ada persetujuan dari pihak kabinet juga.
