Belaga OCPD Bakar Sebau said villagers from Uma Tebok, Long Buyun found the body of Tujok Lah, 44, near the longhouse.
His body is being transported to Belaga.
Yesterday, Kapit Resident Dahim Nadot had said that any bodies found would be sent to the Bintulu Hospital for a post-mortem.
Tujok was from Rumah Sking, Nanga Merit.
As of 9.30 last night, officials said 10 passengers, including Tujok, were listed as missing.
Kawan Mas, which had a maximum passenger capacity of 75, was overloaded more than twice its capacity when tragedy struck at 8.45am on Tuesday after the express boat had left Belaga town at 8am for Kapit.
