Amanah forum on 20-point agreement this Friday

KOTA KINABALU - Angkatan Amanah Merdeka Malaysia (Amanah), Sabah branch will be holding a roundtable forum this Friday at the SM Kian Kok Hall, mile 2.5 Tuaran Road here, at 2:00 pm.

Announcing this, Amanah Sabah chairman Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Bumburing noted that the roundtable forum/discussion will be preceded by a keynote address entitled “Malaysia and the non-fulfillment of the 20-point Agreement with Sabah” to be delivered by Amanah president Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.

“And among other things YBM Tengku is expected to highlight issue pertaining to the 20-point agreement within the ten-year period after the formation of Malaysia in 1963,” Bumburing (photo) highlighted in a brief statement issued here today.

This will be followed by a round table forum to be moderated by an academician and participated by former Sabah leaders as penalists who are familiar with issues relating to the formation of Malaysia and the 20-points safeguards provided to Sabah.

Bumburing thus urged members of the public, especially those living in Kota Kinabalu and its vicinity, to come and join in the occasion.

“Feedback from the public is also expected in response to the keynote address to be delivered by Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah,” he added.
