The majority people in Sabah of Sabah origin are Dusuns, Chinese and Bajaus. Presently, Sabah is ruled by UMNO/BN which is headed by a Pakistani-Musa Aman whose people represent a tiny minority in Sabah. Despite his corruption that was exposed by Hong Kong Police, his UMNO KL sponsor still keeps him CM of Sabah. This is unjustified and an offence to the Rule of Law. No civilized country can tolerate this injustice.
UMNO/BN came to power by corrupting, breaking and dividing PBS into various political component parties. UMNO KL had divided and ruled Sabahans in the past through their proxies USNO and BERJAYA by sub-dividing Sabahans into various political parties based on race and religion. This political monopoly ended in 1986 when Sabahans-Dusuns, Chinese and Bajaus united to form PBS and dethroned BERJAYA that was headed by a tyrant named Harris Salleh-a Pakistani.
For nine years PBS governed Sabah. Throughout the period, UMNO KL headed by a fundamentalist Indian Islamist named Mahathir Mohammad, was relentless in sabotaging and undermining Sabah PBS State Government. Joseph Pairin who was Chief Minister of Sabah at that time should know better. He was bullied, humiliated and sabotaged repeatedly by UMNO KL.
Then UMNO KL strategists came up with a clever plan to break PBS by enticing Bernard Dompok, Joseph Kurup and others to abandon PBS and form their own political parties. By 1996, PBS lost its power base which led to the reemergence of UMNO/BN.
For the past 17 years, Sabah has been ruled by UMNO/BN. Under their incompetent and corrupted government, Sabah, which was once the richest State in the Federation of Malaysia, has now been reduced to become the poorest State in Malaysia.
Once again Sabah is under a Pakistani Chief Minister named Musa Aman. And Harris Salleh another Pakistani, who bullied Sabahans when he was Sabah Chief Minister under BERJAYA, has reemerged as Musa Aman’s spokesman.
It is time Sabahans unite to dethrone this Pakistani minority that is controlling Sabah government under the cover of UMNO/BN.
It is time to open the minds, eyes and hearts of Sabahans-Dusuns, Chinese and Bajaus to rise up and work together in defeating UMNO/BN and all Malayan parties in the coming election.
United Sabahans! Uniting people into the fold would mean a lot of things. It means compromises, cooperation, respecting one another, knowing their strengths and weaknesses, and having strong leadership in using effective people to accomplish a common goal.
Inculcate, train, inspire, motivate and persuade these young leaders to love and care for Sabah. They should look beyond racial and religious lines. They should identify themselves as Sabahans. They should fight for Sabah’s rights to pursue a pathway where education is easily accessible to all Sabahans. A pathway is needed for Sabah’s private sectors to enjoy the freedom to thrive and prosper and be job creators for job seekers-young Sabahans and new College graduates. A pathway is needed to turn Sabah’s economy to be prosperous and make Sabah become the richest State in the Federation of Malaysia once again. A pathway is needed for sound and competent governance.
When Sabahans see these pathways, they will be inspired to work for the unity of Sabahans to work for and accomplish a common goal of dethroning UMNO/BN and turn this KL intrusion in Sabah politics into the dustbin of history.
Sabahans need to turn a new page in their life where Sabah will be governed by Sabahans who care for the prosperity and happiness of Sabah. A new page is needed where the culture and scourge of corruption is repugnant and rejected. A new page is needed where the Rule of Law is respected and practiced to ensure peace and security. A new page is needed where the eradication of illiteracy and poverty is given a top priority. A new page is needed where Sabahans will have access to mastery of the English language that is essential in the job market nationally and universally. A new page is needed where Sabah will have a strong and growing Middle Class.
United, Sabahans will win the next election from the domination of UMNO/BN, and all Malayan party. Divided, Sabahans will continue to be under the shackles of Malaya, UMNO/BN and their Pakistani hijackers. The choice is clear. Let Sabahans prevail in freeing themselves from the shackles of UMNO/BN and all other Malayan parties.

Colour and creed should not be made to gauge a person's qualifications to govern. As long as a person is a citizen of this country he or she is allowed by law to sit in political office and administer the country or state in any capacity. Therefore the issue of Musa Aman should not be sensationalised as if he is an alien. His mother nonetheless is a dusun.Barack Obama became President of the United States by virtue of him being born in the US and becoming a US citizens even when his father came from Africa. The fact that his mother is a US citizen and him being born there gave him such qualification as President.Sabahans know long ago the background of Musa therefore it should not be made a political issue unless the opposition is bankrupt of ideas on how to topple UMNO/BN.Try get a crash political course from Anwar then, who knows you may just pick some pointers here and there and become political liars.

PRESIDENT of Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) 'Taiko' Yong Teck Lee’s romancing of the Barisan National may end his love affair with the Sabah opposition front soon. But this new love story bring up the moot question as to why he is so desperate when the Barisan National has hardly given any indication to warmly accommodate him under its fold.
ReplyDeleteSources in the Barisan National say Yong Teck Lee can’t be trusted. How can they depend on a leader who was willing to ditch the Barisan National-his decade-old senior partner when he felt the relations between both were strained because of one man Pak Lah?
ReplyDeleteEarlier too, Yong Teck Lee parted ways with Pairin Kitingan and formed the SAPP. The gainer of this triangular game being played in the state may be Shafie Apdal a good friend of Yong Teck Lee who is waiting and watching in the wings to take over as chief minister from Musa Aman.
ReplyDeleteRemember when Yong Teck Lee was Chief Minister, he together with Shafie Apdal milked Yayasan Sabah until it nearly when dry? However, thanks to Musa Aman, he saved the day for Yayasan Sabah.
ReplyDeleteEven Lajim Ukin, Sabah’s famous party hopper and old buddy of Yong Teck Lee from the Party Bersatu Sabah (PBS) days where both began their political career and where both plotted to destroy PBS are seen regularly together nowadays.
ReplyDeleteThe political signal coming from Yong Teck Lee in the last few months indicate that he is trying to sail on two boats — Barisan National and Pakatan Rakyat — at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHis shifting statements to keep both the major political parties in good humour may end with a backlash. At the same time, Pakatan Rakyat camp specially The Democratic Action Party (DAP) feels that Yong Teck Lee is not dependable and his track record for the last couple of years shows that he is more committed to divide and split the opposition votes.
ReplyDeleteIt is a known fact that despite poor governance Yong Teck Lee ruled this politically vibrant state for 2 years but a lot say he worked 4 long years (pun added because he worked day and night 24hours a day making hay while there is sunshine with his partner in crime Joseph Ambrose Lee).
ReplyDeleteYong Teck Lee’s new political strategy to oppose Pakatan Rakyat and hinting he would also ditch Dr Jeffrey’s State Reform Party (STAR) anytime is also meant to hijack Dr Jeffery’s old battle cry of ” Sabah For Sabahans”, “Sabah Rights” and now “Ini Kali Lah”, and keep his minority flock in his pocket.
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, Yong Teck Lee is trying his best to sweep the issues of malgovernance and corruption during his time as chief minister under the carpet with the help of captive media.
ReplyDeleteBeing a shrewd seasoned politician, Yong Teck Lee knows his limitations; he also knows the art of handling the levers of the power equations. He has hardly missed any occasion to profess his loyalty to the Party Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), and Anwar Ibrahim in particular.
ReplyDeleteIn a given political situation, Yong Teck Lee doesn’t have any other alternative but to support the PKR in Sabah after his bad outing in the Batu Sapi Parliamentary by-election where even Ansari of PKR did better then him.
ReplyDeleteHe can’t think of joining Pakatan Rakyat because of DAP Sabah whereas Dr Jeffrey Kitingan can move in any direction. The challenge for the opposition is how to strike an agreement among themselves so that there will be only one-to-one fights with the Barisan.
ReplyDeleteIt will not be easy because SAPP and DAP are eyeing the same seats while Jeffrey is unlikely to give way to PKR on choice seats. Besides, there is no love lost between Dr Jeffrey and Anwar Ibrahim.

ReplyDeleteUmno, Sabah BN Continue To Be Firm - Shafie
Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN) will remain strong and the party will continue to implement the needful to maintain the status quo.
Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the claim that Umno and Sabah BN were no longer strong was just a political ploy of the opposition, especially its adviser, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He said Anwar's exaggerations gave the impression that Sabah BN was weak.

ReplyDelete"We are not overly worried about the exaggerations. We will take certain measures to ensure Umno and BN in Sabah are strengthened.
"BN component parties play an important role to ensure BN continues to remain strong," he said after a special meeting with village heads and chairmen of village development and security committees here today.
Shafie, who is also rural and regional development minister, was commenting on Anwar's eagerness to come to Sabah next week, reportedly with a `surprise'.

ReplyDeleteHe noted that as the opposition under Anwar did not get a place or make a major impact in the previous general election in Sarawak -- despite numerous exaggerations -- it would experience the same in Sabah.
On the repercussions of Datuk Seri Lajim Ukin's resignation from posts in Umno, to Sabah Umno, Shafie said Beaufort Umno division acting chief Isnin Aliasnih was currently organising his committee to strengthen the division.
Lajim has announced his resignation as a member of the Umno Supreme Council, Beaufort Umno division head and Beaufort Barisan Nasional chairman.

DO U KNOW WHAT I KNOW? HERE I LET U KNOW? BN Saluran Terbaik Selesaikan Isu Berkaitan Parti

ReplyDeletePR seat talks with the SAPP have come to a temporary halt, PR ally Datuk Seri Wilfred Mojilip Bumburing has said, in yet another indicator that it may be a fractured opposition front that will face BN in Election 2013.
ReplyDeleteOn the outset, leaders from both sides have put on nonchalant fronts, each claiming that their “doors are always open” but the drama behind closed doors appears to be showing otherwise.
ReplyDeleteAccording SAPP information chief Chong Pitt Fah, his party chief Datuk Yong Teck Lee had told a Sunday press conference in Sabah that seat talks with PR have yet to come to a deadlock. But when queried on the progress of the negotiation recently, ex-BN strongman Bumburing claimed the opposite.
ReplyDeleteIn as far as SAPP [is] concerned, Pakatan [is having] difficulty in accommodating the number of seats that they demand and it seems that seat nego (negotiation) with them [has] come to a halt as of now
ReplyDeleteThe Malaysian Insider also understands that PR is unwilling to cede seats to the Sabah-based SAPP despite its claim to have greater appeal with locals in the east Malaysian state, insisting that theirs is a more Chinese-dominated party.
ReplyDeleteThe strength of SAPP used to be limited in the town
ReplyDeleteNow the Chinese voters are putting their support to DAP to fight for their rights,” Bumburing said. “SAPP is mainly a Chinese-based party… so who would represent the KDMs (Kadazandusun and Murut)? Of course they claim they are a multiracial party…. but then again, their base is Chinese
ReplyDeleteAzmin said that SAPP’s first demand to contest in a whopping 40 of the state’s 60 seats was too unreasonable as it would leave the remaining opposition parties just 20 seats to share among themselves.
ReplyDeleteinitially, they wanted 40 seats, and that is not acceptable to PKR, because we have PAS, DAP, APS, PPPS…they must all work together.
ReplyDeleteThen they said they were willing to reduce their numbers but the final figure, the most they could concede was just about five seats… again, that is still very big
ReplyDeleteIf SAPP and STAR stay outside of Pakatan there is some concern from the voters. How we know their strength and we believe that in the GE13, the voters will only have a choice between Pakatan and BN
ReplyDeleteAnother spanner in the works for PR’s struggle in the state is the newly-formed opposition party called STAR (State Reform Party) — a movement led by maverick politician Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, which has its roots in neighbouring Sarawak.
ReplyDeleteBut observers believe that SAPP is an important component in PR’s struggle for Sabah as without the party on their side, the opposition’s contest could result in three- or even four-cornered fights, which would split the opposition vote and give BN its much needed edge.

Stop saying bad things.
ReplyDeleteDefeating Umno? Really?
ReplyDeleteBanyak cakap la pula.
ReplyDeleteDefeating BN in the coming GE? Don't think so.

DeleteThis year’s Chinese New Year celebrations see politicians from both Barisan Nasional (BN) and federal opposition Pakatan Rakyat (PR) eagerly taking the chance to reach out to voters, by sending out greetings with a subtle political flavour ahead of Election 2013.
ReplyDeletePrime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has also appeared in radio and television advertisements giving Chinese New Year greetings in what is seen as a move to endear himself to those from the Chinese community.
ReplyDeleteNajib later appears in the commercial, energetically beating on a Chinese drum during a lion dance scene.
ReplyDeleteThe commercial also shows the same girl whispering to the BN president as he listens intently, with subtitles saying “Gong Xi Fa Cai”, before ending with a smiling Najib wishing viewers the same.
ReplyDeleteThe banners also sport a BN logo and the logo of 1 Malaysia, a concept introduced by Najib’s administration
ReplyDeleteDeputy Prime Minister and Umno deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said it has become the norm for the opposition to hurl all kinds of lies at the government and make empty promises to garner the people’s support as the 13th general election draws nearer.
ReplyDeleteMuhyiddin cited one of the empty promises as PAS’s Orange Book, saying the party claimed it contained a much better plan than the Barisan Nasional (BN) government’s 2013 Budget to develop the country and ensure the people’s welfare.
ReplyDeleteAnwar’s claims that the country’s deficit is increasing and the government has no money is baseless and a big lie
ReplyDeleteMuhyiddin said the government was capable of implementing various assistance programmes for the people early this year, including the 1 Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) and early school aid without borrowing money, which proved the opposition’s claims as lies.
ReplyDeleteDefeat.

ReplyDeleteBN will win.
ReplyDeleteI don't care what others have to say but I believe BN will win.
ReplyDeleteBN pasti akan menang...

DeleteOne of the transformation efforts to be given attention in implementing the National Education Development Blueprint (2013-2025) is finding a suitable formula to reduce the workload of teachers
ReplyDeleteThis change will be effected to lessen teachers’ tasks that are not related to their prime responsibility as educators,”
ReplyDeleteThe prime minister said the effort was also in line with the government’s desire to produce quality human capital who are able to think critically and creatively.

ReplyDeleteSo, it is hoped that every school including Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah can produce such individuals who are able to compete at the global stage,” he said

ReplyDeleteAfter reading all the hilarious rambling brainwashing above, I now feel more confident voting for SAPP. Good day sir!
DeleteNajib's efforts to engage with the Chinese in Malaysia is drawing all-round praise from the community.
ReplyDelete"Najib is well liked by the community as the people's prime minister and we greatly value his festive greetings."
ReplyDeleteI believe if the people of Sabah know how to handle and not influenced with them, this is not happened. Look at Sarawak now.
ReplyDeleteChief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman distributed a total RM1 million to 2,000 eligible recipients of the RM500 Bantuan Rakyat 1 Malaysia (BR1M) 2.0 from his Sungai Sibuga constituency in Libaran here.
ReplyDeleteThe distribution at Dewan Sri Libaran, Sungai Kayu, Mile 7 on Thursday was done in several phases for the more than 10,000 eligible recipients in the constituency that included new applicants for BR1M and single young people scheme.
DeleteAbout 6,084 people in Sungai Sibuga who received RM500 each during the BR1M 1.0 last year automatically qualified to receive the RM500 cash assistance under BR1M 2.0 this year.
DeleteMusa who is Sungai Sibuga Assemblyman said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak decided to announce the second round of BR1M distribution when unveiling the National 2013 Budget because the Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders have told him that it had really touched the heart of the rakyat.
Delete
Delete“The rakyat were really happy after receiving the BR1M last year so we told him that hopefully if possible that there will be another round.
“Thankfully, the Prime Minister announced the second round of BR1M and not only that, he also announced a new category for the young and single people who are earning less than RM2,000 per month in the National 2013 Budget,” he said.
Delete“It is clear that the Prime Minister listens to the people and if there is a way to help the rakyat he will just do it,” he said while reminding the people here that the programme cost the government’s billion of ringgit.
Delete
DeleteMusa said the people were thankful to the BN government, in particular Prime Minister, not only for BR1M but many more goodies in this year’s Budget that covered the people all across the board in the country.
Delete“I have always been asked for the reason Sabah continues to be the stronghold for BN and Umno.
“If the government, the Prime Minister are good the people of Sabah will not have the heart not to vote for BN when election comes as we want continuity of the many good programmes that has been introduced by the Prime Minister,” he said.
DeleteAccompanying Musa to distribute the RM500 cash to the recipients were Libaran MP, Datuk Juslie Ajirol, Gum-Gum Assemblyman, Datuk Zakaria Edris, Sabah Umno Wanita Chief, Datuk Armani Mahiruddin and Sandakan Municipal Council President Datuk James Wong.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman wants the Sabah Natives' Affairs Council (MHEAINS) to establish a database on native laws and customs.
ReplyDelete"I also request that cases be decided swiftly so that the people will be satisfied with the Native Court."
DeleteMusa said this at the opening of the biennial conference for the state's customary chiefs at a hotel here on Monday.
DeleteSince the state's Native Court institution was still relevant, Musa said the government would focus on the improvement of its system and other aspects in its administration.
This was reflected in the ground-breaking of the Native Court Training Institute in Penampang by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak last year as well as the plan to build another six courts in the state.
Delete"They have an important role in assisting the government preserve the unity and identity of the people here."
Musa added that community leaders should do their best to ensure the government's development programmes reached their target groups.
DeleteIn this respect, he said he was puzzled by claims made by opposition leaders that they pitied the people of Sabah because there was purportedly no development in the state.
"This is an insult to customary chiefs here.
"They have been working hard with elected representatives to bring development to their constituencies.
Delete"I want to tell them (the opposition leaders) not to teach the duck how to swim.
"We have brought about so much development to the state, especially since Najib became the prime minister."
Musa said that the state government had stopped logging in more than 300ha of land, in addition to implementing programmes to replant high-value trees for future generations.
DeleteHe said investors, especially big companies, were willing to come to the state and pour in millions of ringgit in investment because they had confidence in the state's political stability.
Delete"It is up to us to explain and convince the grassroots that they must make the right choices for development, provided by the Barisan Nasional led-government, to continue.
"We need to remind the grassroots not to be hoodwinked by the empty promises made by the opposition."
About 400 customary leaders from the state took part in the conference, where nine working papers were tabled.
Jangan pertikaikan usaha kerajaan.
