SSKM volunteers bail extended till April 6

TUARAN - The 9 Sabah Rights Activists who were detained and released on bail for disseminating pamphlets and signature petition campaign on the Malaysia Agreement 1963 presented themselves this morning at 10 am at the Tuaran police station have their bail extended to April 6 pending further investigations, according to sources.

A crowd of volunteers, supporters together with the 18 bail guarantors came early to prepare bail for these 9 activists amid unusual huge presence of police and trucks in the vicinity.

Local leaders who lend their moral support to these activists include Datuk Mohd Matnoor Mansur, Datuk Yong Teck Lee, Datuk James Ligunjang, Datuk Kalakau Untol, Puan Melanie Chia and some others.
