“STAR is for Sabah’s Rights”

By Dr. Felix Chong

“STAR Sabah is a clear-cut choice to champion the cause of Sabah’s rights and interests.  Peninsular parties cannot go all out to champion Sabah’s rights and interests” responded Dr. Felix Chong of STAR Sabah.

“After going through the party’s causes and aspirations for Sabah, I took up the challenge and joined STAR Sabah to continue my political struggle for Sabah’s rights and interests.  I fully support the Borneo Agenda and the restoration of the rights and autonomy for Sabah” added Dr. Felix.

I am not alone and the majority of the committee members of DAP Tg. Aru have followed me and joined STAR Sabah.  It is up to the leadership of DAP Sabah to determine the fate of DAP Tg. Aru.

Sabah is not the equivalent of any State in Semenanjung and the agenda of Peninsular parties is not necessarily applicable to Sabah.

My advice to DAP is not to be too arrogant in looking down on Sabahans.  If they are sincere in helping restore Sabah’s rights and interests, elaborate political programs and ceramahs are insufficient without an elaborate objective for Sabah and Sabahans with real action and political will to implement them.

INI KALI LAH!

I believe the good doctor needs to practice what he preach. The same notion can be posed not only to a specific political party, but rather all.

  9. Back to the matter at hand: The content of this article did not reflect the headline “STAR is for Sabah’s Rights”

  10. The content simply express the reason that motivate Dr. Felix Chong exit from DAP Sabah.

  11. I am more interested on the subject of BORNEO AGENDA as well as THE RESTORATION OF STATE RIGHTS AND AUTONOMY. I was hoping to read an in depth elaboration on the matter from STAR's perspective and see how they can meet this two subjects.

  14. Im still hoping that one day we all be united and no more critical issues come up.

    1. honestly, i think its difficult to unite due the self interest of the leaders which makes me wonder whether they are actually sincere to help the people.

  15. Good luck la... but i still think STAR will never win in Sabah.

    1. If STAR can't get their own people to support them in sarawak, then its most likely that STAR will not get the sabahan's support.

    1. they claim they fight for sabah's rights. but really it depends on how you view SAPP. Vote wisely!

  20. pada PRU nnti, kita taulah adakah Star menjadi pilihan rakyat?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  22. Its too soon to judge STAR.

    ReplyDelete

  34. Anything possibility could happen during PRU. Lets hope the best been voted and bring Sabah out from poverty.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Any party is telling the same thing.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  38. Semua parti memang berjuang untuk rakyat, takkan la nak berjuang untuk haiwan la pula.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Let's see how long it runs.

  40. if STAR is for Sabah's right, so SAPP for what?? Don't you think that the existence of STAR seems to deny the borneo agenda carried by SAPP?
