Gunman identified in killing of prominent banker: Police

KUALA LUMPUR - City police have identified the gunman who shot dead prominent banker and Arab Malaysian Bank founder Hussain Ahmad Najadi (pix) via a CCTV recording retrieved from a business outlet near the crime scene.

Kuala Lumpur police chief DCP Datuk Mohmad Salleh said the gunman, who is a hired killer, is being tracked down and police have recorded statements from seven people who witnessed the crime.

He said the motive of the killing is believed to be over a business deal involving the sale of a plot of land.

He said Hussain's wife who suffered two gunshots is reported to be in stable condition at a private hospital.
