MACC freezes Umno's accounts

The MACC has frozen Umno and Selangor Umno's bank accounts, said acting Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He revealed this during an event in Johor Bahru today, according to staronline.

"It is almost certain that after this, MACC will freeze Johor Umno's account as well, following the move," he said.

He also speculated that the Home Minister might order the Registrar of Societies to deregister the party.
