Another police report lodged by SAPP Youth over RM80 mil lie

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Youth Kota Kinabalu Zone has lodged a police report on 14th May 2013 following its SAPP Kudat youth’s step on the RM80 million allegations that went viral to the public before and during the 13th General Election.

A similar police report made in year 2011 under Report No: KOTA KINABALU/002781/11 regarding another politician who made a RM50 million allegation through his facebook was never taken seriously by the police to ensure that the culprit be brought to book. However, nothing happened until today.

SAPP Youth believes that if the police reports were viewed seriously and action taken when it was firstly reported, would have deterred these rumor mongering and lies by these unscrupulous and unethical politicians today.

In its 2nd police report made by SAPP Youth Kota Kinabalu Zone, calling the police to take immediate action to bring to book these culprits who maliciously, viciously made slanders and lies through rumour mongering, whispering campaign in coffee shops, saloons, SMS and facebook pages pertaining to the RM80 million and RM5 million allegations which discredited Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee, former Luyang assemblywoman, Melanie Chia Chui Ket and SAPP in general.

SAPP Youth had to compel by lodging to the police, the Malaysian Corporation of Multimedia and Communication (MCMC) and Malaysian Anti Corruption (MACC) and took the allegation seriously and to be investigate under:

•    Penal Code (ACT574) Section 499 and Section 500
•    The Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 Section 211 and 233
•    Malaysian Anti – Corruption Commission Act 2009

If the entire allegation were to be true, then it is confirmed that the Prime Minister cum UMNO President Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has conduct a corruption and having high questionable moral to lead the country.

As a youth in this country it is disheartening and disbelief to know that with the advance technology available and accessible at the fingertips now it is being abused to spread lies and slander. It is the fastest mode of communication in taking advantage to ‘assassinate’ one’s personalities.  The worrying trend used by unscrupulous people should be checked and  monitored by the authorities concerned so as to avoid the public being misinformed, fed with lies and slandering. Good politicians have become victims of these unethical characters.

“In this information age, the social media like facebook, twitter have played an important function for people nowadays to interact and get information but unfortunately, one  can be easily deceived and tend to believe what they thought were true….lies that become truth spread by the culprit who lives on lies,” John stressed.

“SAPP especially its youths acknowledge the just concluded General Election 2013 results with open hearts as they know the fate now and in the future shall be in the hands of voters but believed that we will continue to fight for the truth, SAPP members have a high honour of pride and integrity in safe guarding the interest of Malaysians in Sabah without giving any room for lies or slander to win elections and also being labelled as “kerbau dicucuk hidung” or “Fixed Deposit”.

“We lose even though we fight for the truth and believe the truth will eventually prevail one day,” assured John Stephen.

John (at right) believes that SAPP youth will take up the struggle to continue to fight against massive bribery and money politics, the tainted electoral rolls, the not – so indelible ink, the postal voters, the vicious lies, the betrayal by KL leaders, land grabs, the illegal immigrants, the truth of June 1976 aircraft crash, the Petroleum and an autonomous states with an equal status as what had been agreed and protected in the Malaysian Agreement 1963.

The people of Sabah have a higher expectation and hope that to the new ruling government mandate led by Barisan Nasional (BN) will acknowledge the Malaysian Agreement 1963 as mentioned by the Prime Minister Datuk Najib Tun Abdul Razak during its election campaigned that the 20 points is still valid or the Sulu incursion will continue to haunt Sabahan nightmare forever with their claims.
