Rudy left DAP, Not SAPP, for KDM Malaysia

Rudy Mairi Sulaiman was much earlier on already enticed by DAP, so it is not true that he left SAPP for KDM Malaysia. In fact, he left DAP for KDM Malaysia because of broken promises by DAP, said Edward Dagul, SAPP Youth Chief.

“We were puzzled by the statement made yesterday in the online portal The Borneo Insider that Rudy had led a group of SAPP members to join KDM Malaysia,” said Edward.

It was widely reported, on 13th June 2013, that Rudy had joined DAP. The membership application handing over ceremony by Teresa Kok, DAP MP for Seputeh was cheerfully announced by in her twitter posting on 11th june 2013

“How can a member leave any party twice within a short space of time? But maybe, the tag of being a member of SAPP is more marketable than admitting to being a member of another party from Malaya.

“Or maybe, the ability to rope in SAPP members enhances the chances of KDM Malaysia being registered as a political party and hence its wish to join BN?.

"SAPP remain active in Tenom and especially in Melalap. The minor vacuum created when he left was immediately filled by Johan Jawatah, the current SAPP Youth Chief for Melalap," added Edward.
