Saari Sungib and Hasnul Baharuddin are suspended for one year.
KUALA LUMPUR - Selangor assemblyman Saari Sungib and Hasnul Baharuddin of PAS have been barred from taking part in party activities for one year.
PAS Secretary-General Mustafa Ali announced today that the party had suspended their membership because they breached party discipline last August by signing statutory declarations in support of PKR President Wan Azizah Ismail’s bid for the post of Selangor Menteri Besar.
PAS has yet to inform them of the decision, which was made by the PAS central committee at a meeting today at party hadquarters.
The suspension is effective today.
Saari is the state assemblyman for Hulu Kelang and Hasnul for Morib.
