TYT lodges police report against Musa

"Did the TYT allow his problem with the CM to cloud his judgement (neutrality) in appointing another CM later?"

KOTA KINABALU - A top Sabah Barisan Nasional leader is being investigated over an alleged threat against the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Juhar Mahiruddin.

The head of state is believed to have lodged a police report following the swearing-in of Tan Sri Musa Aman as Sabah Chief Minister on the night of May 10.

Sabah police commissioner Datuk Ramli Din confirmed that Juhar had lodged a report against Musa, but declined to comment on Sunday.

When contacted earlier, Comm Ramli, however, said that there was no ongoing probe on treason involving a senior politician.

Musa is maintaining that he is still the rightful Chief Minister despite Parti Warisan Sabah president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal being sworn-in on May 12 as the new CM at the Istana Negeri by Juhar.

Shafie said once Juhar had confidence that Warisan and its partners Upko, PKR and DAP had enough seats to form the state government after GE14, Juhar had called Musa, to ask for his resignation. - Star Online
