Isu Rumah kedai Sabindo adalah contoh pengabaian undang-undang di Sabah

Isu ruang terbuka rumah kedai Sabindo Tawau dapat diselesaikan dengan hanya menghormati peraturan undang-undang. Kegagalan pemerintah untuk mematuhi Perintah Mahkamah Persekutuan pada 12 Oktober 2017 untuk merobohkan rumah kedai yang terbengkalai di Sabindo adalah satu lagi contoh pengabaian terhadap peraturan undang-undang yang ditunjukkan oleh kerajaan Sabah.

Dry taps ahead for Tawau residents

The government's construction of a dam to address the water problem in Tawau may just lead to newer setbacks.

TAWAU: Another parched year is in store for residents in this east coast district of Sabah despite annual assurances that the water shortage here is about to end.

Tawau MP Chua Soon Bui said that residents here should prepare for another long wait for a solution to the daily water supply disruptions.

Big budgets but no real development in Tawau

Eastern commercial hub Tawau is far from the picture politicians paint, say local inhabitants.


TAWAU: In 2008 the federal government said Sabah would get some RM17 billion to tar all roads within 30km radius of its township by 2015.

And a year ago Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman proudly declared Tawau to be free from hardcore poverty.

Tawau berhadapan risiko kekurangan sumber ikan laut

TAWAU: Daerah ini berhadapan risiko kemungkinan kekurangan sumber ikan lautnya sendiri apabila 156 nelayan komersil (laut dalam) tidak dapat turun ke laut selagi isu bekalan minyak diesel subsidi yang timbul tidak diselesaikan.
