KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) is shocked with DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang’s recent admission (to the Sin Chew Daily) that Pakatan Rakyat cannot win in Sabah.
“So if you cannot win here in Sabah, why be a spoiler? SAPP Information Chief Chong Pit Fah raised the question, adding Kit Siang had implied that PR would only manage to take over Perlis and Negeri Sembilan, recaptures Perak and retain Penang, Kelantan, Kedah and Selangor.
He said where is the logic of former DAP Kota Kinabalu MP, Hiew King Chew to accuse a local party of being a spoiler when SAPP meant to offer themselves to their own brethren in Sabah.
He went on saying that Kit Siang and PR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim have in their own words that the Malaya-dominated federal government is on the verge of a bankruptcy.
Pit Fah said Hiew should understand that this has never been the doing of Sabah and Sarawak parties.
He added that Sabah and Sarawak are now cushioning the economic impacts of Malaya’s border-less greed and unrepentant plundering of the nation.
He said Hiew is not a flag-bearer of Sabahans aspirations and causes, but a mere stooge, proxy and traitor.
He added that SAPP hopes the people would see Hiew’s self-serving ploy with his incessant complaining on SAPP flags being flown everywhere.
“Surprisingly Hiew never complain about UMNO and BN flags,” he added.
Nevertheless, Pit Fah said SAPP wished Hiew would be fielded again by DAP at this coming 13th general election.
