GE13: Petronas not unfair to locals in Sipitang

SIPITANG - People in Sipitang don't expect miracles but something to benefit them for both in short and long term when referring to 4.6 Billion of PETRONAS SAMUR project officiated by the Prime Minister in Kg. Banting, Sipitang last year, says Amde Sidik.

"Employment being the most important thing which should be available for them, apart from specific jobs which require expertise, understandably for skilled personnel but the sad part is menial jobs for workers, labourers are given priority to foreigners instead of for the locals.

"We would ask PETRONAS to contribute something to Sipitang people as part of its social responsibility," Haji Amde Sidik said.

He is the Deputy President of Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) and who is also running as candidate for N.28 Sindumin state seat.

"First, they must assist Sipitang's deserving folks like the needy, old, single parents, poor and sick by financial aid or in other forms.

"We would also be asking PETRONAS to set higher learning institution to be located in Sipitang, that would assist parents who could not send their kids to study elsewhere," Amde said at a talk (ceramah) in Kg Samin and Kg Lubang Buaya last night.

  1. BUT WHY DO WE HAVE TO BEG FROM MALAYAN COLONIALISTS?

The 20 Points Agreement say we control our resources and finance.

UMNO has simply ignored our rights since 1963.

They have stolen trillions of dollars from our oilfields since Malayanisation began.

We do not need to beg from them. We demand as our rights.

Further we should be demanding the full restoration of our rights as part of the election agenda.

WE HAVE 5 DAYS LEFT FOR THE EARTH SHAKING CHANGE- IF IT COMES

TO BRING EVENTS TO A CLIMAX LET US RE-VISIT THE 1991 MAHATHIR BAIL OUT BILLION DOLLAR SCANDAL & ALL THE OTHER SCANDALS WHICH COST BOTH SABAH SARAWAK HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS

"Dr M’s obsession with mega-projects and his iron-fist execution cannot be refuted. So, PETRONAS had no choice but to underwrite the construction of the PETRONAS Twin Towers that cost RM6.0 billion and spent nearly RM22.0 billion to construct Putrajaya, because customarily there’s a 10-percent surplus to be parked in overseas banks."

Petronas; Dr. M & UMNO’s CAVE of GOLD

When Dr M, the ex-Prime Minister’s son Mirzan was in financial trouble with his shipping company, Konsortium Perkapalan Berhad, Dr M asked Anwar(Finance Minister that time) to instruct Petronas via MISC to help him. However, Mirzan wanted a higher valuation price, therefore MISC had a problem. The Late Dato Yassin, MISC Managing Director, told straight to Mirzan face, "Awak ingat MISC bapak awak punya company". And Mirzan reported to his father.

MISC was only willing to pay RM 950 million but Mirzan insisted RM1.3 billion in order to cover his cost. Anwar finally agreed to his request after Hasan Merican told Anwar, “Jangan cari pasal, dia anak Boss. Anyway, MISC is not your company”.

What happen after the deal? Mirzan was interviewed by AWSJ and he superciliously said Konsortioun Perkapalan Bhd made RM350 million after disposing his asset to MISC.

Anwar was upset. He took the AWSJ paper, went to see Dr. M and told him, “You and your son are liars”. Dr. M was very angry and distress. Later he called Daim and told him to fix Anwar.

    And the rest is history...

  3. Petronas, it's okay to tell jokes, but please put some effort into them, because I'm not laughing.
