Cops probing ISIS Malaysia 69 video threat to courthouse

KUALA LUMPUR - The federal police commercial crimes investigations department (CCID) are tracing four individuals in a video shot in "Al Qaeda militant" fashion and threatened to attack courthouses before midnight on Wednesday.

The 76-second video clip posted on YouTube.com on Sunday showed four men wearing black clothing and ski masks with a Malaysian flag draped behind them.

Calling themselves "Anak Muda Malaysia" or youth of Malaysia, one of them who spoke in Bahasa Malaysia and was seated behind a table with two Molotov cocktails next to him held up a paper with a photo of an unidentified young woman on it.

Directing his message to "all parties who have ruled the country for long" the spokesman said that democracy in the Malaysia has been manipulated and the group had lost hope in the country's system.

"As a show of our protest on the country's judiciary, we will start with an attack on courthouses by burning fireworks on Feb 18 at 11.30pm. We have just begun and will go further. The more you destroy democracy, the further we will go and strike even harder." he said.

The video ended with all four men showing their middle finger and swearing a four-letter word.

The video was taken in the typical manner of how Middle Eastern terrorist groups shot footages to deliver a statement.

Federal CCID director commissioner Datuk Mortadza Nazarene said investigations are underway and police are tracing the individuals in the video.

He said the the case is being probed for "carrying out activity that threatens and is detrimental to the country's democracy" under Section 124C of the Penal Code.

He urged those with information to come forward and assist police in the investigations.
