Menteri Kesihatan Sabah tiada peranan memerangi Covid-19

Kementerian Kesihatan Sabah yang disebut tidak dapat membantu memerangi pandemi Covid-19 ketika wabak itu merebak pada Februari tahun ini. Ketika pandemik itu pertama kali menyerang, ia dianggap sebagai masalah pelancongan dan bukan masalah kesihatan. Menteri pelancongan ketika itu berada di kerusi pemandu dan bukannya menteri kesihatan. Bekas Menteri Pelancongan, Datuk Christina Liew, yang kini berpura-pura kecewa kerana tidak ada kementerian kesihatan, tidak boleh melupakannya.
Sebenarnya, kementerian kesihatan itu hanya menambahkan kebingungan terhadap usaha panik untuk membendung dan memerangi wabak tersebut.
Orang awam harus diingatkan bahawa, pada masa itu, terdapat tiga sumber maklumat dan arahan yang berasingan. Kementerian Kesihatan yang disebut itu bukanlah salah satu daripadanya.
Salah satunya adalah Pusat Koman yang diketuai oleh Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri. Yang lain ialah Pengarah Perkhidmatan Perubatan persekutuan. Yang ketiga adalah Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) yang memberikan laporan kemas kini setiap hari oleh Menteri Pertahanan (persekutuan). Apa yang disebut Kementerian Kesihatan Sabah tidak mempunyai peranan.

Kekecohan oleh Pembantu Menteri (Datuk Jimmy Wong Sze Phin) yang merungut penutupan ladang dan jeti kelapa sawit adalah kemuncak dari kekacauan yang melanda pemerintahan Warisan ketika itu. Bantuan RM900 juta telah diumumkan tetapi ke mana perginya RM900 juta ini?
Semasa kempen pilihan raya, Ketua Menteri ketika itu menegaskan bahawa pesakit Covid-19 dibenarkan keluar dan mengundi. Rakannya, Datuk Mohameddin Ketapi, mantan menteri persekutuan, mendakwa bahawa pandemik Covid-19 adalah penipuan yang akan lenyap selepas pilihan raya.
Sepanjang tempoh itu, tidak kedengaran dari apa yang disebut Menteri Kesihatan Sabah yang berasal dari Sandakan di mana terdapatnya timbunan sampah tidak dikutip, menimbulkan risiko kesihatan. Oleh itu, mari kita hentikan perbincangan politik dan berhenti berpura-pura bahawa gelombang pandemik semasa akan diselesaikan sekiranya ada Kementerian Kesihatan Sabah.

Inilah yang disebut oleh Portfolio dibawah kementerian Kesihatan Sabah - kesejahteraan (dengan rumah orang tua), PEMADAM, Majlis Wanita. Kementerian yang diketuai oleh Frankie Poon tidak ada kaitan dengan perubatan atau kesihatan. Sebenarnya, kesihatan awam berada di bawah Kementerian Kerajaan Tempatan, yang kini diketuai oleh Datuk Masidi Manjun dalam kerajaan baru.
Kerajaan Warisan telah menyesatkan pemikiran rakyat Sabah selama 2 tahun bahawa ada Kementerian Kesihatan Sabah.
SAPP: Sabah so-called Ministry of Health did not help in combating Covid-19

The so-called Sabah Health Ministry did not help combat the Covid-19 pandemic when the pandemic broke out in February this year. When the pandemic first struck, it was treated as a tourism issue and not a health issue. The then tourism minister was at the driver’s seat instead of the health minister. Ex-Tourism Minister, Datuk Christina Liew, who is now pretending to be disappointed that there is no health ministry, should not forget that.
In fact, that health ministry only added confusion to the frantic efforts to contain and combat the pandemic.
People should be reminded that, at the time, there were three separate sources of information and directions. The so-called Ministry of Health was not one of them.
One was the Command Centre headed by the State Secretary. Another was the federal Medical Services Director. The third one was the National Security Council (MKN) giving daily updates by the (federal) Minister of Defence. The so-called Sabah Ministry of Health had no role to play.

The outbursts by an Assistant Minister (Datuk Jimmy Wong Sze Phin) lamenting the closure of oil palm plantations and jetties was the tip of the iceberg of the chaos besetting in the then Warisan government. RM900 million assistance was announced but where have this RM900 million gone to?
During the election campaign, the then Chief Minister insisted that the Covid-19 patients be allowed to come out and vote. His colleague, Datuk Mohameddin Ketapi, a former federal minister, claimed that the Covid-19 pandemic is a hoax that will disappear after the elections.
During the entire period, there was silence from the so-called Sabah Minister of Health who is from Sandakan, where piles of rubbish are uncollected, creating health risks. So, let’s drop the political talk and stop pretending that the current wave of the pandemic would be solved if there were a Sabah Ministry of Health.
Look at the Sabah government website for the functions of the Ministry of Health.
This is what the so-called Ministry of Health had under its portfolio – welfare (with old folks homes), PEMADAM, Women’s Council. The Ministry headed by Frankie Poon had nothing to do with medical or health. In fact, public health comes under the Ministry of Local Government, which is now headed by Datuk Masidi Manjun in the new government.
The Warisan government have been misleading the Sabah people for 2 years that there was a Sabah Ministry of Health.

進步黨：所謂沙巴衛生部沒能幫助抗新冠疫情
所謂的沙巴衛生部在今年2月新冠病疫情爆發時，在抗疫方面並沒幫上忙。當疫情開始衝擊沙巴時，其被視為旅遊課題而不是健康課題。當時是由時任旅遊部長主導，而非衛生部長。假裝對沒有衛生部而感到失望的沙巴前旅遊部長拿督劉靜芝不應忘記這一點。
事實上，在對抗疫情並切斷傳染鏈期間，沙巴衛生部只令情況更加混亂。
大家需要知道，當時有三個獨立單位負責公佈消息和發出指示。而所謂的沙巴衛生部卻不包括在內。
這些單位分別是由沙巴州秘書領導的控制中心、聯邦醫藥部總監及國家安全理事會，這是由聯邦國防部長發表。所謂的沙巴衛生部長全然沒有作用。
作為佐證，當時的所謂衛生部長潘明豐曾在報章新聞中作出澄清。

首長署時任助理部長拿督黃仕平公開感嘆油棕園和碼頭被關閉停工；這只是民興黨政府陷入混亂的冰山一角。 當時宣布撥出9億令吉的援助，這些款項去了哪裡？
在競選期間，時任首長還堅持要新病患者獲准出來投票。他的同僚拿督默哈末丁（前聯邦部長）則宣稱，新冠疫情只不過是惡作劇，競選之後就會消失。
整個過程中，來自山打根的所謂沙巴衛生部長只能靜靜。許多地方垃圾大量堆積無人收，引發健康危機。 因此，別再發表政治偽論，不要假稱只要沙巴有衛生部就可以解決當前的疫情。

隶屬所謂衛生部的局和機構：公共福利局（老人院）、反毒理事會及婦女事務局。這個由潘明豐領導的部門根本沒有涉及醫藥或保健。事實上，公共衛生事務被納入地方政府部的權限，目前新政府是由拿督馬西迪掌管這個部門。
民興黨政府過去2年以沙巴衛生部誤導沙巴人。
